ANIOMA aboriginals:70% EDO....20% IGALA.....10% YORUBA/ OLUKUNMI. We don't know who Ned's dad is as only his mum can testify if he is from across the Niger. Since, he is dedicated to serving the Easterners and a sympathizer to UGM, we donate him to the East for his next Senatorial election since he is not serving our interests but rather AGAINST us. Ever since he started fraternizing with his REAL blood brothers, no more peace rather, kidnappings in Delta State. |

Is Kwara a Yoruba territory? Are some parts of Kogi people Yoruba who annexed them to the North? The Military Right? Now I ask again...who carved those IGBO communities into the North via State creation. lawani: |

Yujin:Any document that says Igbo is more than Yoruba is a sham document it does not matter if it is pre or post colonial. The SW is more than double the SE in population. If there are non Yoruba's in Yoruba land there are Yoruba in other places too. It cancels out. Census in both the UK and the US show Yoruba to be at least twice Igbo in population in those places. How on Earth can Igbo be more than Yoruba in population?. If they are independent nations today Yoruba will have more than double Igbo budget. There is no basis for comparison at all. Evidence on the ground today shows that Yoruba is more than double the population of Igbo as at 2025. The Yoruba more than others are being shortchanged in Nigeria. Forget any colonial census and deal with data on ground that can not be refuted. |

mandarin:The white man wrote and pronounced Igbo as So it's the white man that will tell you, an Igbo man, how to write, spell and pronounce your tribe? If you're truly Igbo and conversant with Igbo nomenclature, literature, letters and alphabets known as Nsibidi you'll know that what we have is 'gb'. Talking about chinua Achebe, is he super human that is omni-knowest? Just as some umuIgbo out of ignorance spell their names Mmesomma as 'nmesomma' or Chidimma as 'chidinma', does that make it right? The fact that it's their names doesn't make the wrong spelling correct. In nsibidi, 'nm' is inexistent , what we have is 'mm'. Nwannem learn and avoid asking silly questions and unnecessary arguments. Again is Igbo is Igbo, and is not meant to be in interchanged/substituted with any nonsense word Thank you |

sharone21:Oh really? And yet nobody in Anioma speaks Edo or Igala languages despite being next door to both Edo State and Kogi? lawani:Do you know that there are more Igbos than Yorubas in Lagos? Do you know that Oyo has about the same population of Anambra? Do you know that Ogun has about the same population as Imo? Do you know that Igbos are the largest ethnic group in every state in Nigeria after the Indigenous ethnic groups of that state? So how in your mind do you think there are more Yorubas than Igbos? |

gidgiddy:I have seen someone's PhD thesis that says somewhere i in festac lagos nas 26 percent of the properties owned by Igbos. I believe that because it is a PhD thesis. I don't think Igbo's are more than Hausa in Lagos. They are more integrated yes but not higher in population on the overall. Seeing them in some markets may mislead you.. If you go to some US areas you will think Nigerians are a majority there in the US but Nigerians in us are less than one million. If you have relatives in Lagos ask them to take the census of a typical classroom. It will give you an idea of what you need. I think Igbo's are anything between 10 and 20 percent of Lagos Then Oyo has more hotels than Anambra. 1033 to 749. I think Oyo is more populated. Oyo has over 500 bakeries while Anambra has maybe 300 or so. Igbos are not always the second largest. You can't say that unless there is a census From indication Osun is more populated than Ogun or IMO. It has more hotels and more bank branches. It may aso be that there is just more money in Osun |

lawani:I guess we should agree with your mouth and opinion more than that of others (non-partisan experts who studied Nigeria in details and reported what they saw. Again, I noticed you do mix up present day SW with the Yoruba population on the one hand and the SE population with the Igbo population. In today's Nigeria, the SE has witnessed a sizable emigration while the SW has witnessed huge immigration due to the Lagos factor. Therefore, SE population isn't a near measure of Igbo population just like the SW population isn't a near measure of Yoruba population. Therefore, I can confidently say that while Igbos can claim more than 93% of the SE population, Yorubas can't claim more than 83% of the SW population. Apart from the SW states plus Kogi, Kwara and maybe Niger states, Igbos have more population in the rest than Yorubas. The Igbo presence still shows everywhere more than that of the Yorubas to buttress my claims. I know how hurt you guys are to this reality which is why you guys always through the common cliche 'attachee' or land grabbers. You so wish what we say about our people being in 13 states isn't true but it is. You have to swallow the truth the way it is for your own sanity. |
