Today marked 29 years that rap icon, Amaru Shakur aka 2Pac or Tupac died. He died on 13th September, 1996, after a drive-by shooting on September 7, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America. He passed away six days later at the age of 25. The shooting took place after Shakur left the venue of a boxing match with label mate, Surge Knight.

Tupac was known for his hard poetic lyrics. He had a cult-like followership during his time. His music will remain evergreen.

Before his death, Tupac had a longstanding quarrel with onetime friend, Christopher Wallace also known as the Notorious B.I.G.

shocked

Legend never dies but lives on. No contemporary rapper ever throw me off Ballance as much as Shakur did even till date , only Eminem gets close. Even his own rival, Notorious B.I.G, was wack , got overrated for nothing. Rest on Legend.

After the death, so much lies continue flying around about his death/ his alive .

Some say he just escaped and would come back so, so, so date.........

Thank God for internet age, it unraveled every lie, they forced into our throat.

......and this also take me to religions books(all) many of instructions, doctrines, even miracles were HALF truths, neither did instructions completely came from Almighty God/Allah. Whole lots of MISINFORMATIONS & DISINFORMATION, and this made RELIGIONS become problematic to the world today.

Best rapper that ever lived.

Tupac, continue to rest in peace.

Rapmoney:
His lyrics always hit hard. That type of rap is what we call rap. Not the type of mumblings these kids do today.
Spot on!

But the timeline on the photograph doesn't link up with your story
If the shooting happened on the 7th why is the picture saying 8th

Everything he said are still happening till date..

They got money for the war but they can’t feed the poor..

This 2pac is a one of a kind man. He stood for justice a lot and the system just had to shot him down… After 2pac, there’s no American artist that have been like him! All of them are quiet since they witness what was done to Pac..

Nobody wan die for anybody 😁

May he continue to rest in Paradise.

Truly, doesn't really look like he is dead, this is what it truly means to leave something behind, not just our DNA, but something worth while, something people will use to remember us. Tupac is really the legend who attain Immortality. Resspet!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌

He did not predict anything new, nations have always had money for wars while having a teeming population of poor people, that's how it's been since time immemorial...noting special there

It was Diddy, Suge had nothing to do with the death of Tupac, check your facts right.. Diddy had it all cooked up. Orlando Anderson pulled the trigger
