In trying to be optimistic we often see the truth and ignore it.

For the fact that people are talking against Tobi Amusan confirms what I already know, Nigeria is going no where fast anytime soon.

You have seen the truth: The athletes aren’t given good gear to wear even on the day of the event, they have no equipments to train with, nothing to wear when it rains, nothing to wear to the general area, for dinning, for work out, something to wear and stroll around the Olympic village.
No support bra abi sport bra for the ladies no bag to carry their clothes or shoes in.

Nigerian athletes will be expected to wash their clothes by themselves with their hands. And many more things time and space will not permit me to type here…

But long story short you will expect these same Nigerian athletes to outperform the Americans.

Let us even forget america (usa) they are richer, bigger more powerful than you guys (Nigeria)


But what about South Africa?, what about Kenya?, what about Egypt? What about Jamaica

Are they also richer than Nigeria? Are they stronger? More powerful more economically advantaged more gifted than Nigeria? Do they have more talents, more people? Does God love them more?


Look Nigerians I know you people are Olympic gold medalists in Lying to yourselves, in gaslighten each other and the world but it is time to look in the mirror and tell yourselves the truth.

Whether you eat or sleep or take a bath or lie to yourself or tell yourself the truth life will go on day will break and night will fall but it will be better you embrace the truth and enjoy the little time you have left on earth to the best of your ability than continue to live in mediocrity for the little remaining time you have left on earth.

With each passing day you are getting older without seeing a Nigeria with 24/7 electricity how does that make you feel? Knowing that in your life time Nigeria will never become sufficiently developed enough to be considered a second world country let alone a first world country?

I would normally agree with you wholeheartedly but you see those people that will call her back are the reasons she got just that small bag in the first place so they disrespected our country first and should all be fired . Go and check their budget for their kits. Someone or some people somewhere are living large off their backs . GUARANTEED!

Reality is that Nigeria is poor now. Thanks to it's leaders. Just few years ago, Nigeria was the glory king of Africa.

We were referred to as a wealthy nation and the golden crown of the continent.

I cannot seem to discover who invented the "Micromanagement Syndrome" of public funds during events that should bring national honour especially for sporting events yet extravagant when it has to do with self aggrandizement especially looting...

I wish it was micromanagement, but it isn't. This is putting people that don't know how to do their jobs or what their jobs entail in decision making positions.

For one you can solicit for sponsors for each of the equipment.

If that doesn't work, you can send your budget to The ministry of sports detailing all you want.

However, that will be asking too much of people that actually don't understand sports or the needs of athletes.

The civil service needs a full overhaul.
