Are you this delulu? The normal life they are talking about means you will live normally medically like someone that doesn't have it. Ok what if you are not aware that the person has it ? Do you know if the nearest person to you has it? You just want to argue blindly.

Emotionally is the person okay Abi you haven’t heard of ladies spreading the virus cos they were angry at the guy that gave them or vice versa. The op just stated normal. Even socially the person will still be afraid of telling people he/she has HIV cos not everyone is well educated about it and you still think that’s normal abi. If the op had mentioned medically your point would have been valid but he just stated they lived “normal lives” that means generally and it doesn’t consist of social life so it isn’t normal.

Cure your ignorance HIV even takes up to 10 years to manifest without medication.

There are diseases that can kill you faster than HIV and people are using medication for them too for the rest of their life deal with it.

We are not saying you should go and get Infected because there's is medication for it but shit happens and if it does, there's remedy.

Bottom line is, HIV can't kill anymore with the medication on ground unless the individual doesn't know.

Talking about normal life, only can define what's normal to you because right now, there is an injection that can be given to patients every 3 months and that's it, no pill or anything.

So how is the patient not living a normal life?

I mean that kind of medications that when you stop taking, your existence will be in trouble.

Once you have medical issue that made medical doctors to give you lists of what to eat and not to eat, place you on daily, weekly or monthly medical drugs and tells how to engage in your social activities (most times, against your wish), you can't call that normal life.

When I'm down with malaria, sure I medicate. FOR A FEW DAYS. In the time I'm medicating, I'm definitely not leading a "normal" life. Or even anti-hypertensive. The moment you get on that, you no longer lead a normal life

How long has the patient bn with the sickness?

That person you think is living a normal life is living in fear.
He/she will be scared to fall into anything that will take him/her to hospital especially when blood relate issue is involved.
