This is just a simple typographic error.
It's not a grammatical blunder as the caption presents it

they were more interested in banning students from drinking alcohol.

Is this one a university, glorified secondary school or an Islamic school where alcohol is prohibited?

Allowing the words to cut off and continue on another row is also a no no, the dean go school at all? Abi na school go through her
grin grin

I see! I want to ask, did you attend university as well? Because if you do, you would understand that, Dean is not a small position and there's secretary working with anybody occupying such position, hence, the circular was prepared for him/her to sign. It's just that he/she didn't review it before signing.
Re: IBBUL: Poorly Written University Circular by Guestmale: 4:26pm On Sep 13, 2025
To be sincere the circular come short of a university, it is full of errors.

The worst tragedy ever on the African continent is finding ourselves where we judge ourselves by the standard of someone else language. A foreign language!

Nothing should stop that school from writing that message in the language of the community where the school is located.

You begin to wonder why a Charlie Kirk has no respect for black people. Ironically, the people sitting at the bottom of the dirt of what's wrong are the ones you call "literary giants" though they were also imposed, they're not a product of African culture.
If the university choose to communicate in local language,( which is not bad) but then they will have no right to make pass in English as part of requirements to enter the university.

Maybe they were in a hurry to get the circular out by all means.
However, it takes someone with high intelligence and an observant mind to pick out errors in such write-ups. That's why we have proofreaders.
Not really intelligence but paying attention to details while reading it(not many of us do this)...Clearly the writer lacks spellings knowledge and the write up was not proofread..

Write the above in your non-foreign language and see how we judge what you write.

I dare you!

Lie! No intelligence is needed to spot out those errors. Besides the spelling errors that are numerous, there are grammatical inaccuracies and the sentences are not properly structured. It’s just a shame! Someone would have written it on behalf of the professor and probably signed for him.

No, the subject was also grammatically wrong. It should be signing out not signed out.
