A 100-level student of Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo, was found dead on Friday in her boyfriend’s apartment.

The victim identified as Comfort Jimtop, was a Mass Communication student from Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State.



Her body was reportedly discovered in the afternoon, with empty bottles of alcohol seen beside the bed where she lay indications hint that she might have died after sex romp.



Sources said the incident happened in a compound where 15 tenants, including her boyfriend, lived. All the occupants reportedly abandoned the house immediately after the discovery.

Probable cause based on the reports of a blogger?

Until an autopsy is done, it's insensitive to spread this kind of narrative. The title of the post is also misleading. This is one of the reasons the Government is trying to regulate social media. Shame on the blogger/ reporter.

I understand your point, but the heading/title is suggesting that it is certain that she died because they had sex.

Granted, it was a hint - a hint designed to generate clicks. Sensational reports are clickbaits favoured by bloggers at the expense of professionalism. It was merely a hint but the title suggests otherwise.

Terrible. Just terrible. Dude must have been caught in unfortunate circumstances. The lovers must have engaged in a sort of drinking bouts which unexpectedly cut short the life of the deceased. Do you have the link to the Facebook page?

Someone on nairaland once said that a policeman who he was close to gave him the advice that no matter what he did he should never allow a woman pass the night in his apartment. He said the policeman ended the advice there without adding anything further to the advice.

Besides, it's all a guess, why put it on the headline like that's the final conclusion after investigations.

She didn’t go to his house for a prayer session or help with her grades. Sex enhancers or poorly cooked beans don carry another person life.
