His signing doesn't make sense. He is exactly the same level we bought madueke in 2023.
So we are about to wait 2-3 seasons for Gittens, maybe he actually starts maturing after a season or more, Todd Boehly sells him and buy another 20 years old winger that will restart the process again

Football is simple even if appears complicated.

1. To WIN any given match - a team MUST score more than the opponent. Margin of win is secondary because you can't always control it. Winning is key = GOALS.
2. Beside the coach, you need a balanced team - read - Ultra sharp attackers, energetic and IQ midfielders, formidable back-line and a dependable GK.
However, that one no mean say you won't concede because mistakes are inevitable and some goals cannot just be stopped. If you like pack 50 Yashins in goal.
3. At this level, a team probably wont always concede 5 goals in a game, same way a team won't always score 5 goals in a game. Obviously you might want to argue it's contradictory - it's not, but hey, if in doubt check point 1.

Yes, you will always concede goals. That's why you keep on gifting them to your opponents.

I don't know how saying that fixing the defence so that we don't keep conceding silly goals is tantamount to saying that we should not have good attackers or should stop scoring goals.

The only grace I'm giving him now is he looks overwhelmed mentally so I'm hoping it's confidence issue and not skill/decision making issue

Fofana comeback was the reason they were fighting Unlimited22 and Timbros who suggested that Chelsea fix defence alongside attack to be able to compete with other top teams in the league.

They kept on saying the defense was okay and it was just the injury to Fofana that is making the defence lean. Now Fofana Don show and everyone can see he's not all that. Add him to that Snail named Tosin and u can see how badly Chelsea needs a top level CB or they will keep gifting goals in crucial matches.

Don't follow someone whose brain has been replaced with Starchandbanga.

Last season, Fofana started and finished 11 league matches and we only lost 1 match and it was against Man City, earlier in the season. Any intelligent Chelsea fan wouldn't criticize Fofana's quality, but definitely frown at his unavailability due to injury. A fit Fofana will bench Tosin and give us an improved defence, even in Colwil's absence.

You should be reminded that without Fofana, we had a clean sheet against a PSG that scored your water-tight defence home and away, and bundled you out of UCL, few months ago. We are obviously missing Colwil and Fofana is not yet fully fit. So, rest.
