I started my goat Farming in late 2022 with just a female goat. I left it at the place where I bought the goat and took it into custody as as the goat was pregnant. Today, the total number of goats in my custody is 8. What's stopping you from starting yours, especially if you live in a remote area?

I have always thought of goat farming as well. They rarely fall sick and can eat most vegetables. All I need is a big land to use for it

If after two years, you only have eight goats,it means the business is not lucrative

Actually, it should be around 11 goats by now if I didn't lose a pregnant goat a few months ago. Also, I'm not doing it big, if I wanted big, I would have started with about 5 pregnant goats.

You can actually start small if you live in a remote area. All you have to do is take them to the bush every morning to eat grass and return them home every evening. That's what I'm doing myself.

Oh, that's good! I live around Canaan Land, Ota, in Ogun State. Nobody will sell their pregnant goats, you can only negotiate to leave your female goat behind and come to pick it when it becomes pregnant if you plan to buy only a female goat. I also have grown male goats for sale, at the moment. The price of a kid goat ranges from 40,000 - 60,000 Naira, though.
