Ttalk:
You can't be empowering your people with wheelbarrow and not expect increase in food price.

Land Is in the hand of state governors tell your governor to cultivate the land, we are Federation and not in Unitary government
Yorubalokan BATists are lucky for daily bread palliative empowerment.

Do you know who is cultivating the land and baking the bread for daily distribution in Bourdillon huh

Glimpsetv:
A large crowd of Lagosians was filmed in a long queue struggling to collect a loaf of bread. To maintain order, several military personnel were on the ground to control the crowd. This has triggered a lot of reactions online.

Tinubu removed petrol subsidy which led to increase in transportation cost and virtually every other thing in Nigeria by x10.

Removed subsidy on tertiary education tuition fee for Nigerian students which led to increase in university school fees and he cunningly brought student loan, loan not grant.

Tinubu brought Telecom tax, this pushed data price up.

He still went ahead to tax 50 naira for any transactions of 10,000 naira and above

Tinubu devalued Naira and unified our exchange rate which jerked exchange rate up and led to increase in commodity prices in Nigeria.

Tinibu increased the of clearing of goods 6 times in less than 3years in office, upto 800%

Tinubu removed subsidy on electricity tariffs and introduced band A, band B, C billing system which led to increase in electricity bill by x10

Tinubu is introducing new tax law that will force many struggling businesses to start paying huge tax from 2026.

Tinubu introduced new vehicle ownership style whereby every owner of vehicle in Nigeria now pay to FG every year to renew the ownership of their car. So every year you pay Tinubu to verify that your car is still your car not that you sold the car to a new owner.

Braze up for patrol tax from next year you pay 45naira for every 1 liter of fuel you buy 😭😭

Tinubu is now introducing house insurance which will cause annual rent in Nigeria to increase by x2 so that people paying NGN2 million per flat in a year will now pay NGN3.5million to NGN4million once he implements the housing insurance policy and Una say this man called Tinubu should not be impeached before 2027?

Nigerians continue playing na my tribes man, e go soon clear for una eyes shocked

May the supporters of this inhumanity never end well, may the cry of poor Nigerians reach God's heart 😭😭

Agbadorians will say the stakeholders are sponsored by the opposition as if meaningful progress is not something that’s supposed to be visible.

APC also lied that food prices are going down, that one bag of 50kg rice will soon sale at #10k.

APC and deception are in the same category.

Tinubu’s version of economic reform is nothing short of economic sabotage.

The Nigerian economy isn’t just growing in reverse, it’s in freefall, thanks to reckless, poorly thought-out policies that have plunged millions into unprecedented suffering.

At this rate, it won’t just take decades to fix the mess, it’ll take a national miracle to recover from the damage this one man is inflicting on an already struggling country.

First of all, criticism is not hate, it's accountability. When policies fail, people suffer, and they have every right to speak up, regardless of who is in power. Tinubu grabbed, snatched the job. Now he has it. And Nigeria is worse off.

The truth is that the economy is in freefall. Inflation is eating people alive. The naira has lost over 60% of its value. Fuel prices have tripled. Food is now a luxury. But somehow, your defense is Emiefele did worse? That’s not an argument that’s an excuse.

Nigerians have proffered solutions, Economists, civil societies, and even some of Tinubu’s own former allies have proposed clear alternatives: phased subsidy reform, FX unification with proper timing, targeted social safety nets, and aggressive anti-corruption enforcement all ignored. Instead, what we got was shock therapy without shock absorbers.

And please, stop the obsession with Obi. People are criticizing Tinubu because he’s the one in charge not because their candidate lost. That’s democracy. If performance can't be questioned, then what you’re defending isn't a democracy; it’s a dictatorship of mediocrity.

Finally, shouting 'go and rest' doesn’t change the fact that millions of Nigerians are now forced to rest in hunger every night because of failed policies. If that doesn’t bother you, then maybe you need to reflect, not rant.

.
the case of the Nigerian economy is like that if a plant sowed bit starved of adequate water for a long time thereby slowing it's progress and deforming it's growth......when it now gets the much needed water and accompanying factors to thrive you now expect it to be beautiful overnight.....that's not possible.

What the post states is that there is an agreement that the economy is stable which is no mean feat by tinubu's himself but the economy needs to grow,we are over 40yrs behind in economic development and expecting us to cover that gap in barely 2 years is nothing but a mirage.
Re: Nigeria’s Economy Not Growing, Stakeholders Debunk Fg’s Claim by Reference(m): 1:12pm On Sep 14, 2025
What government should be doing is spawning hundreds if not thousands of midscale enterprises up and down the value chain to cover the range of industrial, commercial and service sectors of the economy.

Target import substitution and this will attract investments and buyouts to recover capital when these concerns have stabilized.

This will slow inflation, increase productivity and create jobs in one package. And best of all it will create a values based economy weaning it off its two ills of contracting and mercantilism.

Stable economy? With skyrocketing inflation, a crashing naira, skyrocketing food prices, and businesses dying daily? The only thing growing is suffering.

Stop insulting Nigerians with propaganda. There’s no 'next focus' when your so-called reforms have already wrecked the foundation of the country.
Sky rocketing inflation? When even one 2 analyst in the same post asserted with facts that the inflation as slowed and there has been a reduction, but here you are still pushing lies.

Naira was already almost hitting 2k to the usd but it has since gained about a 1/5 of that back in value or is that lies 2 and you haven't seen that.

Economy isn't stable and you foreign reserves is growing, oil production is improving, debt servicing to revenue ratio is reducing from over 90% to about 60% now but despite all these you can still come out and start spreading falsehood.....you can deny all you want but the facts how out there.

If what you call progress is a currency in freefall, inflation breaking records, businesses shutting down, and millions sliding into deeper poverty then it says more about your standards than it does about the state of the country.

1999 - 2015 was a period of growth no Nigerian needed anyone to tell them, they felt it and lived it

APC are just a bunch of morally and spiritually malformed humans
A false sense if growth, you would rather live a lie than be realistic......the govt of the period you mentioned were screaming to high heavens how things were getting so bad and that the economy was barely holding on and would tank soonest, that's what we are experiencing now.....do you know more than gej who was president at the time and inferred so much about how the country was going to go broke also do you know more than okonjo iweala who was COE who at every turn was crying out how the economy was getting badly damaged if we continued loving ostentatiously.....the false sense of prosperity you are now claiming was the best for us.

Even the post you are jerking off on to paint this govt bad already vindicated tinubu by confirming inflation had slowed and there had been a reduction.

Currency freefall when the naira was almost at 2k but has long regained about 1/4 of it's value and has remained stable for longer periods as the same post asserted.

Businesses are closing down even in the US and Europe,it's not peculiar to Nigeria and their are also businessese opening up evwry day.

You can choose to dwell in negativity but we can see progress and we agree that the economy is stable which takes a lot of management dexterity to get that done.

It’s hilarious how you’re twisting disaster into progress. Tinubu took over with the naira officially at N460 to the dollar and under his watch, it crashed to nearly N2000. Now you’re celebrating that it's hovering at over N1500 like that’s some kind of economic miracle? That’s like burning down your house and bragging because the ashes cooled off.

Inflation slowing doesn’t mean prices are coming down it just means they're increasing a bit less rapidly than before. Nigerians aren’t buying propaganda; they’re buying fewer goods at triple the price, that's if they can afford them at all.

Foreign reserves growing? On borrowed money. Debt servicing dropped? Because debt has exploded so do the math.

You can package failure using propaganda, but the average Nigerian doesn’t need anybody to tell them they’re poorer than they were when Tinubu took over. It is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.

The only thing stabilizing is the suffering.

I am happy that yorubas are calling out his bullcrap statistics. Its means they are not silent or ashamed of being gaslighted by ronu. Tinunus tenure as president is already over with 2 years left to go. Our prayer should be he does not destroy the country completely before 2027. Also let's stop parading the lies that he floated the current. He devalued our currency y almost 100% before floating it.

Tinubu will win with a landslide in 2027.
I read somebody saying that Fmr President Jonathan should come back and I chuckled.
What did GEJ achieve by borrowing to pay workers in 2014 when oil was selling at 78 dollars after selling for 120 dollars and more for years.
Somebody that couldn't manage Nigeria when oil was 78 dollars,is it not ruin that he will ruin Nigeria totally as oil is selling for 68 dollars now。

These are some of the things Tinubu has done within 2 years (coupled with ongoing infrastructural development never seen in Nigeria) that GEJ,Obasanjo etc couldn't do in 8 years...
