Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi, now married to Temi Otedola, says music makes up just 20% of his income as he focuses on building businesses across 18 African countries. Nigerian-born singer and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has revealed that his career and personal journey extend far beyond the music industry. The 34-year-old, who recently tied the knot with actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, says business has always been his primary focus. Speaking about his background, Mr Eazi explained that he did not grow up poor. His father, once a pilot, later established an aviation consulting firm, exposing him early to the values of ambition and enterprise. After completing his education in Nigeria, he relocated to Ghana to study Mechanical Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). At the age of 23, Mr Eazi returned to Nigeria and began work as a mechanical engineer with Schlumberger, a global oilfield service provider. However, his entrepreneurial drive soon pushed him into new ventures. Long before music fame, he was experimenting with business opportunities in club promotions, e-commerce, and other projects that gave him hands-on experience as a risk-taker and innovator. While his music career has brought him international recognition, Mr Eazi insists that it accounts for just 20 percent of his total income. The majority of his earnings come from his business ventures, which today span across 18 African countries. His investments cut across technology, creative industries, and emerging markets, reflecting his larger vision for Africa’s economic growth. “I am more than music. I am an entrepreneur and a Read more... https://dailyobserver.ng/i-didnt-grow-up-poor-music-is-only-20-of-my-income-mr-eazi/ |

Other men get married to daughters of rich men and have never felt the need to explain their financial status because the evidence is always in the public eye for people to see. Now, it's Mr Eazi's turn and they have been churning out sponsored posts to convince the public that his audio business investments span across 18 imaginary countries. Is that really necessary? |

If you're constantly trying to explain that you came from a family with money then it's obvious that you did not really come from wealth ![]() |

This will help you greatly; "What you don't know, you simply don't know. What you won't learn, you can't know. And what you don't know, you have to pay for." Google is easy, cheap, and available to navigate when you're ready to learn. The young man in question is "almost" richer than Otedola presently. We4all: |

KingPure:"What you don't know, you simply don't know. What you won't learn, you can't know. And what you don't know, you have to pay for." Lol...Talking like a jobless youth as usual. Am I supposed to be interested in the life of Mr Eazi to the extent of learning more about him and his audio business investments? Sorry, I have better things to do with my time. Google is easy, cheap, and available to navigate when you're ready to learn. Let me ask you a simple question: How does Google get their contents? Let me help you by answering it... From you and I, and from every blogger who concocts story for traffic. Does that make every information on google true? Absolutely not! I can create a fake story today about you being a billionaire, and anyone who googles your name will see the post and believe it. So, how the hell should I believe what google puts up about Mr Eazi's audio business investments? Obviously, you don't know how google works, and you should pay me for this simple lecture. The young man in question is "almost" richer than Otedola presently. Since this information is from you, his financial manager, I absolutely believe you. ![]() |

We4all:lafmaooo ![]() Honestly he was supposed to tell us some of his business names and what they do, because it will even boost his business patronage cos it's a free advert to a very large audience which many businesses pay heavy for. Anyway my thought is this; Mr Eazi wasn't born poor, his family was a Middleclass family and he was fortunate to secure job with Schlumberger as a young mechanical engineering graduate, I almost got an offer with them back in the days, though NLNG, Chevron, Mobile and Total paid more, so working with Schlumberger for some years couldn't have made him so rich to say that his music income accounts for just 20% of his income lol I think some of his friends may have been taunting him that he married Otedola's daughter because of money, I am a guy and I know how guys talk about things like this lolz and I am sure the whole gist flying around have been making Mr Eazi feel bad and he has been looking for ways to brag that he is richer than Otedola ![]() And Otedola too must have been doing a lot of behind the scene upgrade on him all the while Eazi and his daughter have been dating to bring him to a certain level before they tie the knot lol since Otedola doesn't have any son-in-law and , so maybe he is trying to turn Mr Eazi to his son-in-law and adopted son too ![]() |

franchasng:This is bullshit. If Mr has the carriage and confidence and means to support himself which I know he has and can take care of otefolas daughter, he is good to go. Mr otefolas himself was not a billionaire untill 2003 when obasanjo made him a billionaire. He was managing a printing press company with some contracting here and there and that was it. |

peleson1:Nobody said it's a crime my brother but the way and manner they have been going about publishing different stories of how Mr Eazi is richer than Dangote and own big companies in 18 countries that give him more money than Wizkid and Davido is where people are beginning to find it funny ![]() |

franchasng:Don't be surprised that the people running this publications have never even met Mr eazi before . I will be disappointed if Mr eazi gives in to the pressure of trying to explain his sources of income to the public . His education and quality of education at that is enough to give him the confidence he needs to pilot his affairs into becoming one of the richest persons in Nigeria. He is known and he has access to the rich circles . What the hell .. |

The reason people doubt Eazi’s business acumen and success is because he doesn’t look the part. If he wore expensive jewellery or sharp Italian suits or show off expensive cars they would believe. I watched an interview where Naeto C recalled how he met Eazi. Naeto said he had met Eazi at a couple of business meetings and didn’t even know Eazi sang until he blew up. It was all over the news a few years ago that a business he was associated with, Vydia got sold to an American company, Gamma. should this not tell you something? Mr Eazi is a venture capitalist, he invest in startups, fund businesses and individuals and get a stake in them. For example Empawa Africa which he owns has financed artiste like Joeboy, king promise, fave, good girl LA etc you won’t know that because he isn’t your typical record label boss who smokes Cuban cigars in music videos. Painting him as lucky to marry a girl who lives off pocket money is wild. |
