As much as I fear Dangote may bring up monopoly later in the future, if not for him, these economy sabotures would have been selling a litre of fuel for over 1500, but thanks to Dangote for checkmating them.

That is one thing I actually disperse about Dangote groups, every prices of their products are quite cheaper outside the country meanwhile they are also selling cement cheaper in other African countries, that’s because govt gave him monopoly over everything here, same way DSTV is milking Nigerians dry, all these things comes from the angle of too much monopoly being given to a single company to make supply for millions of Nigerians

When the govt rises against him with all this accusations, people will start shouting tribalism. There is no smoke without fire.
Even though we know dangote refinery must meet up to his investment and partners, it is not proper that it's cheaper in Togo with the delivery cost and all. Nigerians made dangote.
The govt needs to weigh in to this as high cost of energy affects everything hence people are lamenting on the cost of living. It's not helping the govt to achieve it's aim if the govt is truthful in it's development agenda.

Even his cement is far cheaper in south Africa than in Nigeria.

All this talk ... allegations. Why not come with facts ? Is the fuel he's talking about the same quality? ... or diluted? ... If Dangote sells them for a fairly lower price than Togo ... they will export most of their quota .

mayB thier gov do not charge tax as ours do in Nigeria and Nupeng do not collect money from tankers as they do here plus the petro stations are not as greedy like the ones we have here so who do you blame ?

Don't mind then, they have been importing for the past 30 years and made huge sum from subsidy payments they never thought of building a refinery.

How did govt give dangote monopoly

If you have shares in petroleum marketing companies, you better sell your shares.

With the current happenings in the sector things are not looking good going forward, especially with the removal of subsidy.

I had to sell my shares in Total Energy and Conoil about 2 months ago.

Check out their loss after tax and massive decline in profit in June 2025
