Did anybody here go watch the Demon Slayer movie?

I know a lot of people who went to watch it in cinemas in Nigeria this weekend. There were even some large watch parties...

I couldn't go unfortunately cos of work

I was trying to post a review of this earlier, and Antyspamy clamped me cuz mann i was raging 😩😩.

This has got to be the most disappointing watch so far for me this year. It was packing heavyweights on it and yet delivered so little.

The storyline is just so silly, and i couldn't even explain without looking like a doofus, it looked nothing like the masterpiece it was adapted from.

Apart from Denzel Washington, the other cast were having a mid off, like it was some of the most distasteful acting i have seen in a while, like those you'd see on those Tyler Perry slops he dumps on BET. I mean, i say Ice Spice and Asap Rocky on the cast and i immediately knew they weren't serious.

such a garbage media....🗑️

I see why Ne Zha 2 grossed $2.2billion.

Watched it totally once, and watched the Hilda Baci cooking pot side again, both times , them just dey cut onions everywhere.

The animation was beautiful, it was funny when it needed to be, so so emotional in some other scenes. I will be adding it to my comfort movies.

So apparently the Demon Slayer movie is on track to hit $750m in the box office unless there's a major drop...

Would be insane if it does as that would be higher than even Superman

Abeg, that's overblown. The most the movie can potentially do is $600mn+. Which I'm still in doubt.
These anime movies usually have a massively front-loaded first weekend in America. So, has no legs the following weekends.

I watched the Mugen Train during the pandemic without watching a single episode and I’ll watch this new one later today
