The only sensible thing out of that State in recent times.

What Nigerians cannot abuse does not exist. They have really bastardized religion especially Christianity.

Any lunatic, out of frustration, can wake up any day with Bible in tow and start spewing rubbish.

With millions of morons out there, it is a matter of time before s/he comes up with crazy doctrines with
eyes on underage girls to plunder.

The only innocent pastor is the one that has not been caught.

I don't know the details but I think this is a step in the right direction except there's an ulterior motive behind it. Not like religion has done us any good by the way.

Either that or everyone should be fully ready to bear the consequences of using their churches/mosques to spread terrorism, hate and dissent.
You looked it from a direction which most Nigerians lack. This law is meant to curb those preachers that incite violence through preaching.

When last did you travel to Niger State. You need to travel to see for yourself the transformation in infrastructure and Agriculture.

And on this I am in total support.

Of all the issues ravaging your state.
God ll deliver Nigeria one day
Religion in Nigeria is number problem.Till tomorrow , obidinet is not forgiving Adeboye just because he did not publicly endorsed their candidates,if every preacher has been tamed ,no body will use it to remove Jonathan in the north, because our immas tell us who to vote for so with that influence it change a lot of things

I used to have high hopes for this governor. What a disappointment he has become.

How about educating the people so that a preachee can not be influenced by the negative words of a preacher.

Between I support total ban of public preaching and all religious activities. Our public spaces must be kept conducive enough for our sanity.
Religion is the most powerful tools used to control Africa no matter the qualifications and the numbers of degree.Of recent a gycologist was sharing her experience with us in church.he married early but has delayed in child birth ,the frustration from her husband side make her to take herb that is bring out maggot cooked by one nonsense prophets, despite knowing is against her decipline ,it was after she drank it she realized that what is the essence of the school she went if she can still fall for all these prophets.Despit knowing odumaje is not a true man of God he still have plenty supporter

That is the main reason for that law and not for the generality of the society, law shouldn't be made because of just one person but for the purpose of society.

This man is less concerned with the I security in that state, the other day it was cutting dreadlocks saying it will help curb insecurity, as a pastor or imam you will be submitting your readings to him for a review I believe he will still say doing this will help curb insecurity grin grin

Some governors in some state are the greatest mistake that has ever happened to that state..

There must be some form of control over these guys....wrong religious indoctrination is the harbinger of Boko Haram, iswap etc......this order isn't out of place as there is manifest existential threats to national security.

It exists in Saudi Arabia, uae and even Iran.
look at all the countries you mentioned please if you are seeking to leave this country can you apply to any of those countries? Nigeria is not only Muslim we have others religion and we must respect other people views......just like Nairaland that make people swear an oath before commenting on some post specially on Friday.
