Hi all, I applied for the Spanish visa on 5th August, 2025. I have not gotten feedback from them. My travel date is very near. I don't know what to do now.

Did you go through the legalization process ? How were you able to book an appointment because I still can’t find any reliable information on that.

And also your visa appointment did you book it online or walk-in ?

I did't apply for student visa. I got the appointment via walk-in.

For legalization, send a mail to the Spanish consulate to book a date. Last person I know that inquired about a date in August was given a date for January. So the sooner you do that the better

How were you able to get an appointment for legalization of your document.
I am trying to do that also for my study documents.

Send an email to the Spanish embassy legalization department at [cog.lagos.leg@maec.es] to book an appointment.
The earlier you do that, the better for you. I booked my appointment in June and was given a September date.

Hello, maybe my first message wasn’t clear, I mean other than refreshing the BLS website and waiting for dates to pop up, what other ways can I get an appointment? Walk in? Send an email? Assistance please

try to search the person number you're dealing with to avoid being scammed

Be cautious of scams. Your options are either to book an appointment or try walking in. Last week, walk-ins were available, but they only serve 35 people per day; that day, they only attended to 33. If you decide to walk in, aim to go around 1 PM, as they should have finished with the people on the list by then. It might also be helpful to get the contact number of one of the security personnel, so you can reach out to them for updates.

After spending so much on translation, legalisation , paying insurance and school fees. The next thing is rejection.

It's really crazy cause they won't say why exactly it was rejected, just that there isn't enough justification... what other justification is needed for a student visa especially when school fees has already been paid.

They know your aim isn't really study but relocation.

You can secure visa via another schengen country for tourism purpose. Upon arrival in spain, get a lawyer and regularise everything there directly
