I disagree with name change for EGYPT Egypt remains historically same name from time immemorial. Whether it was former of United Arab Emirates or not did not change it's name . So it remains same from being one of children of Shem (son of Noah) as recorded in Bible till date. |

Small addition: 1. Iran's original name was Elan then Persia then Iran. Original name of Egypt was Mizra. It is still in use today. Whenever Egypt is playing continental or World Cup, the name is inscribed on the neck of their jersey. 3. The people known as Turkey today were hitites before. 4. Phonecian in Bible days are now Lebanon. 5. Rome is now Italy. 6. Carthage now Tunisia.. Many names were changed during Islamic domination of the world. |
