“It is incorrect to claim that the price of petrol in Togo is lower than in Nigeria. A straightforward check reveals that the average pump price in Lomé stands at approximately 680 CFA francs per litre, equivalent to N1,826. This figure reflects the very scenario that DAPPMAN and its affiliates appear to advocate for in Nigeria,” the statement said." Something is wrong with DAPPMAN and their supporters. Why do they hate anything that will bring reliefs to Nigerians ![]() What's wrong with these people ![]() You have lived far, when everything was in comatose in oil and gas ...it can't be so forever. If the business environment is too hot for you now, leave and start selling Palm Oil....Oil na Oil |

Cabal in oil industries are in levels and stages. From crude oil, to nnpc, to pengassan, nupeng and major and independent marketers. While dangote was supported with millions of dollars and tax relief while constructing the refinery others granted approval as well were neglected. That move is suspicious. If one or two others refinery had been assisted like dangote, monopolistic tendency would have been eliminated. We would not have been where we are today if the past government has compelled all foreign oil companies to have a refinery instead of relying on nnpc supply. The industry need total liberation and more refinery is the answer. |

Why won't he refute it. Words from the streets says TOGO is where the father of our president comes from. That is why you can never see childhood pictures, primary and secondary school pictures and family members pictures of him. Dude was born and raised in TOGO. He only came to Iragbiji (his mother's hometown) in his early 20s.......... Make I stop here |

There's a standard cost for refining PMS globally, it will be difficult for Dangote to arbitrarily increase the price. |

Let us leave Dangote out of this lblame game and face out useless president and corrupt NNPC officials for not fixing the refineries after two years that the man yeye president has been in office. You removed fuel subsidy without any tangible plan to make our refineries working now we are at the mercy of Dangote to get cheap fuel. He no go ever better for all APC supporters and their balablu for Aso rock. |

Many questions remain unanswered regarding the fraudulent subsidy regime, which has consistently had a negative impact on the country to date. Someone should enlighten me; The so-called subsidy removal took place as soon as this government came to power. As soon as the removal was announced on May 29, 2023, people were forced to buy already subsidized products at exorbitant prices. The pump price of PMS increased from 142 naira to approximately 540-560 naira, depending on the case. When the Dangote refinery was commissioned, the price was readjusted to approximately 1,000 naira per liter. My question is: what was the logic behind this significant adjustment, when the price was approximately 500 naira after the subsidy removal? Nigerians need to know why we are paying this exorbitant price for fuel that is produced solely from crude oil, which the country is rich in. |

DAPPMAN, NUPENG and there likes are anti-people. They are the agencies or cabals inflicting pain on Nigerians. DANGOTE refinery didn't stop them from importing. If they can get quality PMS from elsewhere then go ahead and call DANGOTE bluff. DANGOTE is a risk the people are willing to take since the alternative will stifle the people more. |

8686:How is Dangote monopolistic in this refinery matter? Has he said that other people should not build their own refineries if they want to? Refinery business is not like building filling stations or buying tankers to distribute petrol. It is a business that requires very huge capital investment and not many people can afford to take the risk and go into it. It is not Dangote that made it that way. |
