How Eritrea Saves Super Eagles World Cup Dream by sunky97(op): 7:54am On Sep 16, 2025
Did you know the Super Eagles still have a real chance at the 2026 World Cup, and it’s because of a team that didn’t even play?

Eritrea withdrew from the CAF qualifiers before kicking a single ball. That decision has reshaped the rules and may actually work in Nigeria’s favor.

This is opening another door of opportunity for super eagles to actually qualify for the wold cup.

Here’s how:

And you expect us to be happy about the super chicken complacency? How can a country have the best soccer team in Africa whose players are in the top leagues round the world still be struggling to qualify for a spot amongst cheaper players in Africa. What a shame!

On several occasions, I painstakingly took my time to express my dismay about the dual hypocrisy of the APC led central government, immediately my comment begins to elicit the needed patriotic responses, the coward moderators yank it off. This brazen attack on freedom of expression can not go unchallenged sooner or later we would address this issues at the appropriate organization. It is appalling to be honest. Seun and his bunch of mods can't even hide their bias toward APC again. At least let them due it with decorum.

I lay the blame on the politicians running our football
The NFF administrators in my opinion are simply conventional politicians that failed to get positions in regular politics, they then decided to become football administrators
From Peseiro to Finidi & now Chelle, the way they shabbily employ coaches without formal process grin
