Those days I used to see his customized suv around Gbagada...God will have mercy on human being..He's not the first neither will he be the last to build such. Is in blood very few rich people will not build mansion.

Developers developing other people's lands. They build houses in their hometowns where they visit just once, twice or thrice yearly. After 10 -20 years, it becomes a relic. Even their children find it difficult to visit because of insecurity.

We do it even though it doesn't make any sense.

The sad part is for people who have mansions in the village but are still tenants in the city.

We are very wasteful as a people. If any of the sons finish this house and moves in, they will still say
that he never built a house.

ICONIC BUILDING SUCH AS THIS SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE STATE.

THEY NEED TO MAINTAIN THE BUILD AND INTERLOCK THE COMPOUND.

JUST A LITTLE EXTERNAL TOUCH IS NEEDED, PLUS SMALL MUSIC LIBARARY/MUSEUM NEARBY TO GENERATE FUNDS TO MAINTAIN HIS COMPOUND.

PEOPLE WILL HAVE WHERE TO VIST AND PAY MONEY.

THE TIME TO CASH OUT IS NOW THAT WE WHO KNOW HIM ARE STILL AROUND.

You don’t need more than a 3 bedroom bungalow after 65yrs. You can’t even climb stairs without pain at that age. Make people begin to respect themselves. It’s better to use this big land as garden to keep busy and healthy. Than this nuisance structure. He couldn’t even maintain it because as you age, source of livelihood reduces.

Igbos usually have large families that come together, especially during festive/celebration times.

We have about 6-8 bedrooms all ensuite, and they're barely enough.

the lagos /abuja property can be sold most times. The village one cant be. Nothing wrong in building 3 bedroom bungalow in the village. Corpers can rent it , or relatives can take over and maintain easily
