I was on Palace road recently and saw POO dropping out of a guys butt in the afternoon.

Like where Oba Oniru lives ooo

On one had, I did feel bad, cause I'm like I have a place to poo, but maybe this man doesn't.

On the other hand, that was totally unacceptable.

How am I seeing poo dropping from a mans butt into an open gutter in such a high brow area?

Omo, I pray for progress for all of us sha, all parts of this Nigeria, whether together or split.

We should not be having anything like open gutters in 2025.

I understand Lagos is more developed than a whole bunch of other states, but it doesn't change the fact that people should be able to complain and get their complaints heard, especially when valid.

We can't complain about an area and someone says, look at this other area.

Is it a must to buy land in ikate or Lekki?
Mowe and ibafo dey there, why can't he buy there at lower price of 3-5m per plot instead of buying a plot of land in Lekki at an affordable price.
Moreover, people that has billions of naira to buy land or properties suppose to be able to the tiny roads lead to their properties....are they not billionaires? We call it community service....poor people sa no dey live there?

It is definitely not a MUST! I don't think anyone in history has ever FORCED anyone to BUY a house.

However, are you justifying OPEN smelly gutters in front of home worth BILLIONS?

Is this your idea of progress?

Tacha the guy is making a good point. This has nothing to do with wherever he comes from. He is saying nothing but the truth, properties in Lagos are overrated and overpriced, simple.

2billion naira will buy you an amazing duplex in most highbrow cities in the US, UK, Switzerland, France, etc, now tell me can you compare any of the aforementioned countries cities with any city in Nigeria?

We are the reason our politicians are misbehaving and misleading this country.

The critic never said his state of origin is better than Lagos, he only said nothing but the truth that our properties are overpriced.

Every criticism of the government must not be viewed with tribalism glasses angry
Sensible comment from you, with people like you, there's light at the end of the tunnel in Nigeria sad

Wo aunty tacha when you see the truth you say it.

Lagos state is dirty, not coming from a place of tribalism but they need to keep those northerners/ Hausas in check. They use every nook and cranny as a place of abode, shitting and pissing, using it as a spot for packing plastics… True, fashola demolished that nonsense but come to fagba now the rail na all of them full there, fill up the whole rail with their dirtiness and beg beg. Da fvck…Wetin Sanwo Olu Dey do sef?

I will speak of Lagos because na there I know.

Aunty tacha, should talk true. Lagos is dirty and yes Smelling.

Exactly, but this may not sound nice , Yorubas hardly build as well but they can live in better environment, do big businesses and still living in rented building(just few build). They are more peaceful but i wonder why they behave crazy online. Igbos and Edo's are tribes that can build anywhere. This is clearly my personal observation.

Is it government that owns the estates ? A private developer developed VGC when it was a swamp and did a good job , instead of the content creator to ask the developers who sell 2b property to do the needful he is calling government.
..but the same government will come to that place during election period and campaign promising them good roads infrastructures and social amenities

Oga , if you buy land from government does the governor come to tell you what to do with your land or property?, is obvious a lot of Nigerians are ignorant about what property development means , government is not in a position to tell you what to do with your acres of land, if you decide you want to convert your acres into an estate and then sell properties within the estate at 2 billion then if you are not greedy or lackl the fear of God you will do the needful and provide commensurate amenities that meet up to the value of the price you are asking for your estate, I already gave you an example of estate that was properly developed and sold in billions - VGC , if you want more within same lagos check eko Atlantic, northern foreshore estate and even chevron down the road from ikate.

You cant buy land from government for a price then sell to individuals at 2 billion and turn around to blame government for not providing your estate with amenities after collecting huge sums from customers.

Here we will see the dramatic approach to this thread, which will definitely come down to tribal sentiment. We in this country, especially the recent generations has refused to see our problems as catholical and beyond boundaries, ethnicity, or religious beliefs. The only people who are a bit different are the northerners. But in the south, let an Igbo, Benin, Ijew, Hausa, Efik, etc, make a slight comment on any unhealthy situation that affect everyone in any Yoruba land, especially Lagos, the Yorubas will demand for his or her head or ask him to pack and go back to his region. And yet, we sing for growth. My honest question is, how is this going to come?
Una go cry taya, enemy of progress.
As useless as Lagos is, which state is better than Lagos state in this country?.
Or you think the next generation of Yorubas will be so stupid to support your ulterior motives to destroy Lagos?.
Today the neverdowells prefer Fashola as if they don't also hated him.
The most beautiful part of the story is that " there's absolutely nothing y'all can do about the current status and the state of mind in Lagos. ".

Let me make my self clearer just incase there's still any bit of functional cells in your brains to comprehend. If I live in a house, it's absolutely my business if the house is clean or dirty, especially if I contribute to the cleaning cost of the house.

If I live in Garki Abuja and there's a power outage or a blown transformer, it's only logical for me to complain about the performance of AEDC. Only a fool will expect me to live in Abuja and complain about the performance of BEDC after a power outage in Abuja. And this foolishness we talk about here is powered by nothing but tribalism and poverty.

I never said Yorubas don't build, but they hardly build outside their place. If everyone builds in their regions, the South East will have the most beautiful place in Nigeria. I'm not saying this because I am Igbo, which I am not and never wished to be one. The truth remains that Igbos contribute significantly to the growth of wherever they reside. The Edos are trying as well, even though they don't have that much population.

No one talked about colonizing anybody. We always made mention of saner climes when something goes wrong, but in saner climes, as a citizen of that country, if you live in a particular state for three years, you are automatically a resident and eligible to receive what others are receiving. Kemi Badenoch, a Yoruba, is a political heavyweight in the UK. I don't think such can be possible in Nigeria if a white Nigerian contests for a political position. Also here, even if your grandfather was born in a particular place, your dad same place, and you are in the same place, you are still viewed as a stranger. This is not only a Yoruba thing, but Nigeria, but at this moment, the Yoruba are the most tribalistic in Nigeria. We are intolerable and very divided; in fact, we were never meant to be together.

Kemi badenoch is powerless and must serve the interests of wyte people that put her in that position.

While in Nigeria, a non-indigene politician is powerful and does not serve the interests of the indigenes that voted for him/her.

If your grandfather was born in a particular place, dad same place, but yet you still have not assimilated into the culture of the place but instead trying to form a parallel culture and dragging politics with the indigenes then you deserve to be seen as a stranger.

Lagos needs the return of Fashola. Sanwo-Olu is the pothole governor. The roads are painful to see when one remembers what Fashola did with them.

For the record, the statement by Tacha is not sensible.

Pls is tacha from Lagos? Why do people who migrated to Lagos defend Lagos as if it's there state.

The 2b is not the price but the value due to population. If you buy it 2b today, you will still sell it 2.5b tomorrow.
