Hello everybody

Please who has experience this before could guide me,

I try to load my picture,the system said the picture did not meet requirement and I was processed to review where they told me that I should bring passport photo of 5cm x 5cm to my interview,

My question is that, is it possible to
go to interview with add copy of passport photo without downloading?

So I experienced same issue weeks ago and with the help of ChatGPT I was able to resize and edit the passport and I proceeded to uploading it.
P:S Do not over edit if you can’t do it well kindly take it to a cyber cafe like you were advised.
I just wanted to tell you what worked for me

well yeah because how do you explain a fresh graduate getting a tourist visa?I mean you would think the person doesn't have enough ties yet but I was surprised by that.I mean its just a two minute interview or less but if you can really do well in the interview,then that's it.The fact that you don't even really need a bucket load of documents. Just prepare the ds 160 very well,be super confident during the interview,and with a little bit of luck,you can be granted.I once met a pig farmer in DC,and was surprised how he could have gotten a visa too considering that type of occupation.So you are right about that

Hello.
Don't pay your MRV with dollar credit card (esp if you are in Nigeria) except if it's absolutely necessary as a result of no other choices (with this , you have to be certain that such card is always effective with online purchases).

Although, Credit /Debit card payment is the most fastest form of payment and it gives you access to appointment calendar almost immediately but it has the worst disadvantage of losing or forfeiting your money, if your payment is declined or at any slightest network glitches.

The most reliable form of payment in terms of complaints in the case of issue is " physical- over the counter deposit at First BanK. ** If you still want to proceed with your card payment just chose the option " CARD" when you get to that stage in your avits dashboard and input your card information. 👍

That page was only telling you that you did not have any previous payment history with AVITS amentum and that if you think you have any previous payment you can verify.

Anyways, click on proceed to payment (as indicated in the attached) and the page will take you to the next section where you will choose your payment option. 👍

Don't conclude quickly that he is being scammed. Foreign nationals who have affiliates etc can organize seminar or conference inside America in order to target larger audiences or world markets. The only thing is that he must be certain that such conference is an accredited one and the organizer has a website and verified location. The conference must also be meaningful to your present career or business or works.

You must have received an invitation letter for the conference and such notification is definitely via email correspondence. Therefore, the conference organizer , representatives, president, secretary or the person who is communicating with you all through your registration is sufficient to be your point of contact.

As per the $200 , yes you must pay a registration fee for a reputable and well organised conference. Some conference even charge up to $600 for registration in order to cut population and such money goes towards their administrative cost. Most free conference in america is majorly for americans or by invitation.

If you are opting for tourism you must still name the places you are meant to visit (eg McDonald's in Colorado and Lincoln Library) and you must have contacted a staff in such entity. Such staff is going to be your point of contact. In the case of indecision of places you want to visit then you can use a residence hotel as your point of contact but a manager or secretary or other staff of the hotel whom you must have established a travel routine communication with has to be mentioned.

Meanwhile dont let us disregard @crownfame012 warning totally. Try and verify the authenticity of the existence of the conference.

Having studied the content, intent and the appearance of the acceptance letter you attached then i can allegedly conlcude that its 80% kind of scam orchestrated.

Genuine conference most of the time requires online registration as well as online payment because paying registration fee of less than $1000 via bank transfer doesn't make sense. The letter even contracdicted itself by providing a bank account and then asking you to upload credit card payment evidence ..They definitely want to extract your credit/debit card info for unauthorised purchases.

Your number one mistake is that you must register for a conference in the domain of your intended country. You are going to USA but you went to India website for the registration. Your second negligence is that you seems to have not started this thread from the beginning..


It's very likely a scam arrangement so kindly abandon it. As per your tourism question go back to the beginning of this thread and study it properly. Perhaps someone may have the time to furnish you with comprehensive clues.

If your colleague is evading bank charges please tell her that it is better to pay bank charges of may be 5k than to forfeiting all the $180 MRV payment because if she is eventually debited half-way her money wont be reversed.

Ask her to cancel the present pending appointment and start all over. She should choose Bank deposit this time and ask you or other relative to do the payment physically if she is not around to do it.

When your card failed to pay MRV immediately as prompt as possible then you need to change the card or change your payment option entirely. 👍

If she has tried twice and it didn't work then I'd say she has her answer

Did you recently get one? Just curious as to whether or not this policy is in full effect. I learned some folks are still getting multiple entries.
