This is a stunning view of Awka. Please note that Awka ICC is the best, most beautiful and biggest in Igboland. Stolen: |

SpaceTour:It dont stop Soludo building a world class conference centre like Enugu next to Ekwueme square to compliment each other. Convention is different rom conference and event centre. Learn the differnce it goes a long way to help what u choose to do. |

City of Ekwuluobia has emerged. Anambra has clearly maintained the lead as the most developed Igbo state

There’s no difference between the two, it’s just nomenclature. However, Awka ICC is bigger and more beautiful than Enugu ICC. Learn it today, that it is same thing but nomenclature. legitnow1: |

Update from the ongoing construction of Agulu-Nnewi-Okija dual carriageways
|
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Eboofa: 9:42pm On Sep 07, 2025 |
ANSMEDIA:Fantastic.........Soludo should build an interchange where the Agulu -Nnewi- Okija dual carriageway dissects the ongoing Ekwuluobia -Isuofia -Nnobi Dual carriageway! Or at least do a flyover at that junction! |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by NwekereNdokl: 1:27am On Sep 09, 2025 |
Wherever you are going is useless. Owerri flyover is yet another mistake just like Okorocha flyover that has been abandoned. Ekwuluobia flyover is of better quality and functionality than Owerri flyover. wizzyvibes:This is the fourth Anambra city competing with Owerri. Imo is a failed state.

NwekereNdokl:I love those images of the Ekwuluobia bridge and light of the nation tower.............how I wish something similar is done in nnewi! Its iconic! such structures aside from its functional purpose......elicits confidence and silent joy in residents,,,,Its always a sign of hope and stability! I like those towers Soludo is building...reminds me of the idumota tower clock back in the day..........it was a cultural icon until area boys and agbado filth overwhelmed the whole area! My suggestion is that Soludo also adds a chirmin clock on the structures..............make the clock they nack every hour on the hour with popular hilife or gospel ringtones! Travel to any US small town you will see such structures near their mainstreets or town council buildings! One more request for soludo..........We need a well conceptualized BIAFRAN war memorial for our foreign heroes! We are the only people who fought such a war, that have refused to remember the hundreds of thousands of fighting men and women who died for alaigbo......It is a travesty! Nigeria should go and do their January 15 stuff at Alex Ekwueme square.............but we want a dedicated BIAFRA WAR MEMORIAL and PARK............crafted in natural stone, marble and granite, with the names of all our anambra indigenes that fell in battle incribed on the walls of the cenotaph............our youth need to be reminded that 'agha bu onwu'...........war is not to be toiled with! A small digital war museum can be added to the complex later........style and class should be the watchword.......the design can be thrown open to all people of goodwill around the globe! What our Traducers and adversaries in other parts of the country think is not our concern...........Our Political elite have to purge themselves of their traditional timidity and effaciveness in politics..................Let us reclaim our pride and land! I am sick and tired of being asked to go back to where i come from! |

ANAMBRA TAKES FURTHER GIANT LEAPS WITH MORE APPROVED STRATEGIC PROJECTS The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has reaffirmed its commitment to development over politics by approving key projects worth billions of naira across the state. These include the construction and dualisation of Ekwulobia–Ufuma Road with a bridge, the construction of Adili/Park Road at Nnewi, the installation of interlocking pavement stones on School Road at Iyiowa Odekpe, and major works at the Chinua Achebe International Airport VIP Lounge from external works to new furniture supply. Also approved are the rehabilitation and asphalting of the Civil Service Commission premises in Awka, marking of pedestrian crossings and traffic lines across the state, playground and sports facility works at Ekwulobia Stadium Complex, supply and installation of medical equipment at Enugwu-Otu Aguleri General Hospital, and the construction of two suspended floor six-classroom blocks at Awada Secondary School, Obosi. ANSEC emphasized that no project will be awarded merely for election season and pledged not to owe any contractor. These projects will boost Anambra’s infrastructure, attract investments, and improve living standards for every citizen.

I just found out that the MRO facility Airpeace Ceo wanted to build in anambra is now being built in Lagos. Soludo can hardly get indigenes to come invest here, how much more foreign investors. We have had month on month, no foreign investment in Anambra state. Its sad really. I am quite aware that the governor has tried in road construction which i congratulate him for that, but for Anambra to move to the next level, a whole lot of focus should be put on industrialisation and power. This would help generate/increase the internal generated revenue he has been clamouring for. Its not by task force that our IGR will increase. I am just so sad today for anambra. Another potential investment gone |

wizzyvibes:Given the high expectations i had for the Soludo admnistration, i'm sorely disappointed with what's been achieved so far! Had what we see delivered in Anambra in the past 3+ years been done by any other administration other than the Soludo admin', i'd have said they've done relatively well! But for someone like Soludo, it's a sub-par performance! Just goes to show that governance is more than academic theorising and cho cho cho! |

I'm really feeling for this young man (looks like a northerner) that's just trying to eke out a living yet he's being harrassed by 'revenue collectors'...one of who looks like a ugly hardened criminal! Can the state gov't regularise, unify and simplify all trading/market levies and fees and ensure innocent traders like this young man are left in peace to do their trade!? https://youtube.com/shorts/TbIU1jSvxs0?si=UuUkiXTgRy29jbRs |

wizzyvibes:That's not unique to Anambra state......I cannot think of any new substantial foreign investment in the southeast as a whole in the past 4 years... |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by Eboofa: 10:00am On Sep 18, 2025 |
IGBOSON1:It's not his performance that has been subpar. ..I sincerely believe his cabinet is subpar.....there are jewels in the cabinet but there are way 2 many political deadwood from APGA in that cabinet! Or is it lack of sufficient experienced ppl but all the same. .we must give room for personal and professional growth! I want Soludo to be reelected ......he deserves a 2nd term! Ukadike and hajia ekwunife are just political gangsters that have no business even running in the gubernatorial elections!<< |

ANSMEDIA:Does a flyover turn a town to city? Is this your definition of city? |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by NwekereNdokl: 7:16pm On Sep 18, 2025 |
Yes he is very correct. The flyover and adjoining dual carriageways are infrastructure and it has turned Ekwuluobia into a city. Today Ekwuluobia is better than some state capitals like Umuahia. Gucciboy: |

NwekereNdokl:No infrastructure,no amenities,no facility. 'is this what you see in other cities? There's no difference between ekwuluobia and other Anambra towns like igboukwu,UGA,nnobi, etc. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by NwekereNdokl: 12:18am On Sep 19, 2025 |
There’s no difference between other Anambra towns from Ekwuluobia, the same way there’s a difference between other Anambra towns to the cities of Onitsha and Awka. The difference is clear. Take your jealousy back to your state. We didn’t invite you here. Gucciboy:

The guy is very correct. stop explaining yourself. You are not from Anambra. We know you guys, you people always claim Anambra to deceive yourself. Ekwuluobia is now a city, I don’t know why it should be paining you. There’s no way you can compare Ekwuluobia of last year with the one of this year. A place that has multiple dual carriageways crisscrossing it, modern mall, modern market, banks, shopping plazas, sizeable population etc, is a city. We are not interested in party politics but interested in Anambra and its advancement. Gucciboy: |
