Royal Triple Dee School In Ibeju-lekki Is A Scam by TopSchoolBozz(op): 12:36pm On Sep 17, 2025
Royal Triple Dee School, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos State is one of the most expensive private schools in Baba-Adisa, Ibeju-Lekki. From the outside, it looked prestigious, with a neatly painted buildings, and packaging. Parents believed that it was the best place to give their children quality education, so they enrolled their wards there — despite the high school fees, numerous levies, and extra charges for things like WAEC and BECE registration.

The school’s director, Mrs. Omolola Lawal, is a woman known for her love of money. She insisted on increasing tuition fees every term, and collected additional payments under various names: technology levy, development levy, exam preparation fee, even sanitation fee. Yet, inside the school, the reality was disappointing. My son who was doing well in studies started dropping in his performance. No seriousness in that school. It pains me after paying N130,000 per term excluding exam levy etc. I got no return for my money. My son is in SS2 now. He can't even simple algebraic expression, because the school don't have a Maths teacher. So, it is one Mr. Aliyu they use as a cover up for any subject teacher that left, not considering he is not qualified to teach that subject. Maths is just one of it. Physics is zero, Further zero. Majority of the Senior Students are more of art than Science. Just imagine!

The Director Mrs Omolola Lawal has a bad record for owning salaries. Most teachers leaves the school after staying just a team. Some leave even before the end of that same term. Even with a peanut salary, she still cannot pay. Is it that she doesn't have money to pay? Honestly that's not the case. From what I heard is that she leaves and own a building in one of the most expensive estate in Ibeju-Lekki, BEACHWOO ESTATE.

When it came to WAEC and BECE examinations, Mrs. Omolola had one mission — to ensure that all her students passed, whether they studied or not. She would call private meetings with the school principals and exam coordinators and instruct them directly:
"Make sure they all pass. Do whatever it takes. We cannot afford failure."

What followed was organized malpractice. Answers to exam questions were written on sheets of paper and distributed to students during the exam. Teachers were assigned to help the students cheat, either by whispering answers or writing them on the board . Some external supervisors were bribed. It became a well-planned system of cheating, just immediately her school was given the license to conduct WAEC and BECE examination.

Some teachers who were uncomfortable with the system tried to speak up, but they were either ignored or forced to leave. Others simply kept quiet to protect their jobs. The school continued to operate like this, year after year, growing in numbers but not in value.

To the public, Royal Triple Dee School looked like a successful institution. But inside, it was a place where education was traded for profit, and morals were sacrificed for results on paper.

If that's her daughter in the the last picture, you have taken it too far.

Most private school owners are pieces of thrash but leave her family in whatever shape or form out of it.

130,000 naira school fee is small in Lekki maybe that's why she is owing teachers. Anyway, take your children to school you can afford.

Mod should bring this post down. Your write up smells defamation with N130K school fees in a whole Lekki, with all the packaging you stated about the school.

Withdraw your kids from the school, and look for better school.

Ibeju Lekki is different from Lekki. It is down down down like you're going towards Epe axis. The specific area mentioned is newly developing.

Rebuttal to False Claims Against Royal Triple Dee Schools, Ibeju-Lekki
It has come to our attention that certain unfounded accusations have been made against Royal Triple Dee Schools, Ibeju-Lekki, regarding alleged examination malpractice. We categorically refute these claims and present the facts for clarity:
1. Established Track Record:
Royal Triple Dee Schools has been in existence since 2012, with a consistent record of academic excellence and integrity. Over the years, our students have excelled in both internal and external examinations, gaining admission into reputable universities across Nigeria.
2. WAEC & BECE Integrity
Until 2025, our students wrote their WAEC examinations externally, as the school only received official WAEC accreditation last year. Our very first internally conducted WAEC took place in 2025. It is therefore impossible for the alleged malpractice claims spanning previous years to be true.
3. Independent External Success
Beyond WAEC and BECE, our students have gone on to successfully pass JAMB and Post-UTME, these exams are completely independent of Royal Triple Dee Schools. Admission into Nigerian universities through these channels is strictly merit-based. Many of our alumni are currently undergraduates, graduates, and even completing their NYSC service year.
4. Commitment After WAEC Accreditation
After receiving WAEC accreditation, the school was approached by several external candidates seeking to register through us. To preserve our academic integrity, all such requests were screened with internal tests, and some applicants were firmly rejected. This underlines our zero-tolerance stance on malpractice.
5. Evidence of Genuine Excellence
Our students have consistently demonstrated excellence within and outside the classroom. Notable achievements include:
o Third Best Placement Exam Performance: Royal Triple Dee Schools was ranked 3rd best school (Ibeju-Lekki) in the Lagos State Common Entrance (Placement Exam), as published by the Lagos State Exam Board.
o National Recognition in Spelling Competitions: We reached the finals of the 16th Edition of the Spell Africa competition, competing against top schools from across Nigeria.
o Environmental Innovation:
We proudly participated in the Eco Recycle Project by the Lekki Free Trade Zone, with our project featured alongside 15 other schools in Ibeju-Lekki.
o University Success: Many of our alumni are excelling in fields such as Civil Engineering, Pharmacy, Physics, Accounting, Psychology and other professional disciplines at various Nigerian universities including University of Lagos, Lagos State University, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, University of Ilorin.
o National Ranking in Competitions: Over the years, our students have participated in national competitions and consistently earned recognition, reinforcing our culture of hard work and achievement.

6. Commitment to Standards
Our school maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards examination malpractice. We uphold integrity, discipline, and quality education as our core values. The consistent academic achievements of our students speak louder than baseless allegations.
7. Condemnation of Unethical Conduct
We strongly condemn the malicious act of publishing personal pictures of the school’s proprietor and her daughter alongside these false accusations. Such actions are not only unprofessional but also a violation of privacy, intended to incite ridicule and personal attacks rather than engage in constructive discourse. We urge members of the public to focus on verifiable facts and not be swayed by attempts to tarnish personal reputations.
For avoidance of doubt, all information about our operations, approvals, and academic track record can be independently verified at our school premises: Triple Dee Close, Baba Adisa Bus Stop, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Royal Triple Dee Schools remains committed to raising disciplined, knowledgeable, and responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Point 1- No evidence , nothing.
Point 2 - The fact that WASSCE was written externally does not imply that there couldn't have been exam malpractice. Moreover, you did not state anything about BECE.

Point 3 - You should have provided further details and records. Passing UTME and co does not again, imply that the school has academic integrity. Or are you saying that exam malpractices do not take place in such as well?

Point 4: No evidence

Point 5 - Evidence if genuine excellence with no concrete evidence to show. What the hell is Spell Africa? That mushroom spelling bee competition?

Point 6 - What are the constant academic achievements?

Point 7 - It was wrong to have posted the picture.

Why did you not address other issues that were raised? Why is staff attrition so high? Why don't you pay your staff as and when due as claimed.

PS- I'm not saying which if the sides is correct, but this your rebuttal did not do justice. Something seems fishy.
