Nigeria is a very lawless country governed by rogues. Over 40 cases instituted against the declaration of state of emergency, yet after six months non has been concluded. Everybody is dancing to the tune of the autocratic president, both the national assembly and the judiciary. Shame on Nigerian judiciary.

I can read many wailing comments here from emergency fake lovers of Rivers state governor and government, if the crises in the Rivers state had degenerated to unmanageable proportion though that's what they want anyway, they will still be the first to blame Mr President and our security agencies.

They aren't happy that Rivers state remains calm and peaceful since the last six months of the emergency rule.

Most important thing here is that the declaration brought peace. But trust opposition and Obidients, they wanted to see Rivers burn so the whole nation can be like Bangladesh and Nepal. I may not support many of Tinubu's policies. But that declaration was leadership and boldness. Something Obi and Atiku have never proven to have or understand. To God be the glory. He cannot. They have handicapped him, He is now crippled politically. He does not have the State house of assembly, he does not have the chief judge of the state. Even the people that were with him before have now realize how weak he is(nobody wants to follow a weak man). I'm now hearing talks about the "return of democracy" in Rivers and Fubara's supporters displaying excitement. People just like deceiving themselves in this country. Fubara was running the state in an undemocratic manner before his suspension. Only Irredeemable sycophants gloss over that fact.

Ignoring the manner in which he assumed office through a flawed election, when he started acting against his oath of office, his administration stopped being democratic, if it ever were, going by the foundation again.

Let us pretend that Fubara was democratically elected, when the assembly building was destroyed by Fubara's allies, his recognition of a factional speaker, and the running of the state without a budget, democracy ceased in the state.

The Supreme Court rightly described him as a despot and that there was no government in Rivers State.

It’s quite unfortunate that every case of urgent national importance taken to the Supreme Court for interpretation is deliberately delayed until it’s overtaken by events and stripped of relevance. Just watch how the Supreme Court will suddenly begin hearing on this case.
This is nothing short of shameful.

It is shameful and disheartening that the highest court in the land didn't urgently adjudicate the case. Now, it will just be an academic exercise.
