From the video, I think ones the guy blink/close his eyes it triggers the alarm,which not suppose to be so. It has to modified further in which there should be a sensor that will be working with the brain and the eyes to detect when the person want to fall asleep.
There is still many rooms for improvement.

Wow this is really commendable, not these guy and girls who sit in front of TV watching immorality shows like BBNAIJA, this is example of thinking out of the box, so thoughtful of him to have put in work in achieving this goal, I hope the government should see this kind intelligent people should be held close by govt in terms of investing in their ideas

I just watched this same invention on YouTube. It's been around for the last 5yrs. I'm guessing that's where he also got it from. It's a "Do It Yourself" project for low skilled copycats.

And people were saying government should invest into it? Mtchew.

And everyone here assumed he could come up with the idea and execution without an engineering background? Una too dey play in this country. Walahi.

That's really commendable but he's in a wrong country, i wish he was in a developed country like US.

A driver that has dozed off?
Dozing off for 1sec is more than enough to cause an accident. It should be preventing the drivers from dozing off and not alerting when they're already dozed off.

Drivers will NEVER use it. Ordinary seatbelt and helmet is still impossible to use by our people
