Profgordons:Entering the pool with 1 year of work experience as a doctor is not really the problem—the issue is that the person is likely entering with fewer CRS points. Since they have less than 3 years of work experience, they wouldn’t be able to maximize the points for foreign work experience. From the perspective of getting called from the pool, the maximum CRS score a Nigerian doctor with 1 year of work experience (Housemanship) could achieve, even after maxing IELTS, would be around 456. Looking at past draws in the Healthcare and Social Services occupations category, scores below 456 have only been selected 2 out of 10 times. So, if we go strictly by numbers and probability, that gives about a 2-in-10 chance—assuming you’ve maxed IELTS and are at least 29 years old but in all please always be in the pool and Try to increase your chances PNP French ETC you never know

amnotapervert:You are right, the emphasis was on ability to use housmanship as work experience. For the scores, adding social workers to health category may have caused the number of eligible candidates in the pool to increase but that is now drying out. I would expect the health category scores to continue to drop. |

I recently receive ITA and I'm getting my documents ready, pease I have a couple of questions 1. For my POF, my brother is gifting me the money and we live in the same country but different state. Which of us can initiate the gift deed and can I sign virtually since our locations are far from each other? 2. Do I need to notorize my gift deed? 3. Do I need to attach a proof of bank transfer from my Donor's (my brother) bank app 4. I have travelled from Togo to Senegal by road and my passport was stamped at Ghana, but I didn't sleepover at Ghana. Should I declare Ghana under my travel history as well? Thank you 5. Lastly, and importantly: I selected Financial Auditors and Accountants as my job role since it is the closest match to my actual position at work. However, the reference letter from my organization lists my job title as Bank Branch Accountant. The job description in the letter, though, aligns with the NOC I chose on the IRCC portal. Should I update my job role on my Express Entry profile to Bank Branch Accountant? |

Welcome24:. 1. Gift deed – Your brother (donor) initiates it. You can sign virtually (scanned signature). 2. Notarization – Not mandatory but strongly recommended. 3. Proof of transfer – Yes, attach the transfer slip from his bank. 4. Travel history – Yes, declare Ghana since your passport was stamped. 5. Keep your company’s real title (Bank Branch Accountant) but ensure duties match your chosen NOC. No need to change the NOC if job duties align |

Hi everyone, I need some guidance here. EE profile created in Feb 2025 with CRS score of 415. EOI in Alberta Accelerated Tech Stream profile created in July 2025, score 58 with the EE profile number. EE profile became ineligible in September on my birthday (42 years). Received ITA from Alberta 2 weeks after ineligibility of EE profile. I have a valid teer 0 tech job in Calgary, Alberta which I started in January, 2025. I cant get back into the EE pool until January 2026 when I would have qualified for CEC. I have 15 days to accept the ITA from Alberta. Any guidance on way forward? Thanks in advance. |

whormz:Why can't you create another EE profile. What made it ineligible, you created it in Feb 2025 and in September it is expired ..... this is not clear to me. EE profile should be valid for one year... Maybe there is something I don't seem to understand. |

Please if I'm using a deed gift as POF , do I also need to attach the 6 months bank statement that the money was sent to or I only need to submit a notorized deed gift and payment slip for my PR application ? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Ontarioo: 11:51pm On Sep 21, 2025 |
Comradealex1:Notorize and submit. 6 months statement is not compulsorily required if it's a gift. Read page one for more information. |

It didn't expire, it became ineligible as a result of age after I turned 42. This effectively means I no longer meet the requirements for FSW. Only way I get back into the pool is CEC which will be effective January 2026. Betterlife2018: |

Please guru on this platform. I need input on this situation. A close family person is here in Canada. He has graduated and currently on pgwp which is expiring in less than two weeks He got ITA ( health draw ) with a crs score of 472. He has 1 year canadain experience in health and claimed 2 years foreign experience. After he got ITA, he discovered that he made a mistake in his Canadian credentials point when he was creating profile. He recalculated his score after he made the correction of the mistake and then the score reduced below 470 cut off. So technically he may need to decline the ITA The two years foreign experience is without his NYSC experience. He is thinking he can update his profile after ITA to include NYSC and then claim 3 years foreign experience. With 1 year Canadian experience and 3 years foreign experience and correct Canada credential his score will be 481. please help a poor boy. I am not sure of correct answer to him Can he update his work experience after ITA. His PPA is willing to issue him necessary document to support the nysc experience. Please he needs help. 🙏 |

Betterlife2018:The work experience he stated when applying for his study visa is the main issue, because IRCC often flags cases where international students suddenly claim new experience on their PR application that wasn’t declared in earlier applications |

affoncad:Thank you for your input. Yes he mentioned 3 years experience during his study permit application. I can confirm that his NYSC experience was included in his study permit application. Can he make the adjustment and proceed with the ITA. 🙏 🙏 |

Hi guys, thanks for all you do here. I've been a long time follower of this thread. I just received a message from IRCC questioning two major things on my family application.. First: asked to address my wife(primary applicant) to clarify the profession on our marriage certificate, the profession doesn't correlate with her NOC, and it didn't cross our eyes since we had been married for a while now. Secondly: we were asked to clarify the NOC of our previous profile. We'd opened a profile for trade briefly last year and deleted then re-entered for healthcare this year. The VO asked why we never mention this new foreign experience in the previous interest Please, how can we carefully address these concerns |

Hello all, So my younger brother got ITA for the education stream. He is a lawyer but has never practiced cos he never got a job since he graduated. He was posted to a town in Ogun state for his NYSC and made to teach so afterwards, he got a teaching job in a private school. We have proof and all the pay slips as far back as January 2024 to prove this. What we’re worried about is IRCC…will there be an issue that a lawyer without a B.Ed degree is teaching? He taught history during NYSC and teaching economics now. The proprietor is willing to write letters to support this but we just wanted to be sure it won’t be an issue with IRCC. Thank you |

Betterlife2018:Yes he can update it and also follow it up with a letter of explanation. He should download his posting letter from NYSC site and statement of account showing his salary if he has a sound account officer. |

Rtdrektboy:You have to understand that if you get ITA primarily because of a NOC (e.g. healthcare, trade, etc.), you need to have enough justification to qualify for that ITA. Yours have come under suspicion because you seemed to be jumping from one NOC to the other, perhaps only for the purpose of securing the ITA. It'll be hard justifying these reasons retroactively when you have not been entirely consistent. What was originally on the marriage certificate and what's her current NOC? Are they so vastly different, e.g. nurse vs. accountant? Or are they close enough that you may be able to find a parallel somehere, e.g. nurse vs. pharmacist? Do you care to provide the real reason why they are different? It'll depend on all of that. Also, why did you open trade briefly and then delete it, only to then open healthcare? If you provide your reasons, then you may be able to explain your way out of it? E.g. we were trading in drugs and medication before as trained pharmacists, but then decided to just go get a real pharamacy job and work in healthcare, etc. |

Rtdrektboy:I always tell people to print out their filled forms before submissions so as to have a record of what they submitted especially for future applications. Your information must align at all times else it becomes suspicious. I have seen people who had discrepancies on their different applications to IRCC and they still scaled through. In fact, one didn't know of the discrepancies till later years sef. Either IRCC didn't spot those obvious discrepancies or they just ignored it. However, this was 5 or 6 years ago. Things are different today. It seems with the recent effort to curb immigration, IRCC is now more thorough in their processing as they seem to be looking for any slight reason to deny qualified applications instead of approve. The only thing you can do is to craft a good explanation and see if they buy it. The issues are obvious so it is not in your hands now. They are already suspicious of your info now, so explain yourself and hope for the best. |

Rtdrektboy:Give some context- How long ago was the marriage and what profession was on the marriage certificate? Why the disparity in NOC you got the ITA with? How long was the “brief” EE profile for? The scrutiny for all EE applications is higher now so you’ll need a solid convincing response. |

psrsx:You're at the right path, finish your nursing school then work for at least a year then you evaluate your msc biochemistry and use nursing practice as your work experience that automatically puts you in the in-demand health streams |
