Arsenal were completely outclassed by a pathetically average Man United and needed a diabolical (almost illegal) set piece coupled with Raya's heroics to narrowly win.

As for Man City, despite beating their rock-bottom neighbours, they are not in the same league as Liverpool and Arsenal.

Frank's Spurs are even ahead of City in my book.

Did they play same way in the remaining 4 matches they've played so far? That was a the only match they played below standards and they've always struggled in old Trafford. Arsenal us yet to concede a goal from open play this season and they conceded just once in 5 games with 11 goals in 5 matches. How many teams can boast of such stats?

I'm not saying they are not trying or good enough... But, they are not on the same level as Liverpool.

This is just my opinion, and I do hope Arteta proves us wrong this season (that's if they don't capitulate mid-season as they always do).

I agree they're not on the same level with Arsenal. A team that bottles 2 goal leads in 3 consecutive matches is one with serious defensive lapses. It can never be this current Arsenal. Who knows if they're about to bottle yet another 2 goal lead in this match

Coming from a Liverpool fan I can say you're wrong. Arsenal are clear favorites this season sentients aside. Forget the win at Anfield. Liverpool have literally laboured to all of their four wins this season. And if no immediate improvements are made, those late win lucks might start running out.

It will be difficult to win the league on a shaky defense. And that's what we've got at the moment. That's why the inability of Marc joining from palace was really painful

Kai Harvetz, Mikel Merino who is a false 9 is up to the task. Martinelli and Trossard can be played at the centre too.
