Our judges are very stupid. I don't support NUPENG but these judges are not intelligent at all. I blame Universities that keep churning out these quack judges |

NUPENG are trying to force themselves on Nigerians. There is freedom of association in the Nigerian Constitution, so anyone can decide to be for them or not. |

NUPENG is having issues with a private company but they want to punish and blackmail the whole country because they have the power to. This is how black people think what concerns Nigerians with their shenanigans with Dangote unless it the Federal government they are fighting against they shouldn't even be thinking of going on strike to punish the whole country. |

Everybody must not join a union. NUPENG has been our major. They feel they are soul and life of Nigeria, hence their determination to quence anything that challenges their dominance |

youngsahito:Where did you read from all that was written that it's not compulsory to join a union? even though it's not. Nobody should be able to force anyone to join any union. Even the Supreme Court ruled against the Nigerian Medical Association on a similar matter where they were trying to prevent a doctor that didn't want to be a part of the union from practicing. Unions are never compulsory. The reason market women can be forced is because most of them are not educated and that's part of the reasons some of us encourage small businesses to register their business. The amount you'll pay to register your business can't be compared to the rubbish the useless union will put you through with no benefit whatsoever. |

bixton:What kind of comparison is this? The guy is talking about workers freedom to associate with NUPENG or not, which is correct, and you are talking about religion that is a matter of faith and a totally different thing. Fundamental issue here is that NUPENG is a gang of self-serving blackmailers and mercenaries with hidden agenda. This is not about the welfare of Dangote Refinery Drivers/workers. They are acting in a dictatorial and lawless manner simply because they wish to be able to blackmail Dangote at will, for 'egunje', once his workers are in their union and compelled to obey their strike order. |

NUPENG joining union is not must constitutionally, it's clear NUPENG are underground criminals against Nigeria and Nigerians |

NUPENG started a fight they would not be able to fight to an end. The end of NUPENG is near, other unions will spring up |

PureFace1:Apart from unscrupulous elements, no well-meaning Nigerians are supporting NUPENG. I believe most of those tanker drivers are poorly learned & informed. The middleman obstacle must be removed from our businesses. It's causing a lot of hardship for the common man. Those drivers have options: liaise with Dangote refinery, fine alternate jobs or continue their businesses without being a nuisance to others. Some of them are involved in fraudulent activities: diversion, stealing of products etc. If NUPENG is bent on obstructing the efforts achieved recently, it should be decimated. |

tnerro1:You won't. Once they see photocopy of your certificate, them sef go fear because now you answer to the federal government and your business is protected legally. |

WizardOfNG:What makes religion any different from it? Is it not the constitution that says "one is free to associate with whomever one chooses"...... As long as the association does nothinder the progress of the country!!!!! So Dangote does not have a hidden agenda? |
| Re: Court Restrains NUPENG From Going On Strike, Disrupting Refinery’s Operations by fineboynl(m): 12:00pm On Sep 18, 2025 |
erad:it will shock you that pos operators have unions. Unions is part of what's killing the country. The union is about protecting their interests while disregarding the interest of the masses. I like nupengs because they join Nigerians is so many protest including endears. I think dangote should not be allowed to control the whole market. It's called weight distribution. |

Nigerians should be thankful to Dangote for coming at this time. The saboteurs of Nigeria are showing up now. |

Misterone:English is always about comprehension/understanding then application as everything in life. Is it Dangote that will speak for the tanker workers or does Dangote want to have its own special tanker drivers union separate from NUPENG? Was this not what POBJ during his administration tried to water down ASUU due to their endless strikes that the FG has refused to bring to an end that some State governors in their wisdom hace ensured State Universities/Institutions do not join in such national strikes.....!!!! |
