Bro forget this yarn. There’s nothing special with Liverpool that Atletico cannot destroy. Even Arsenal self some years back dare not talk when any La-liga team is talking. It’s just the unending confusion and BS going on in laliga of recent that’s destroyed many of the teams in European competition. I’m not expecting anything spectacular from any of the teams across Europe this season by the way. Not even from Barcelona self. But don’t forget Villarreal defeated Arsenal and Manchester in 2021 here. Bilbao isn’t really a team made for European competition by the way. Doesn’t seems their forte. yea laliga teams are all struggling for now but nothing special about Liverpool that Atletico can’t beat them sha.

They did, you only feel they didn't because they didn't cost like those in EPL. Thiago Amada is now a starter for Argentina, Alex Baena is the best creator in Laliga. One of the best ball progressors Cardoso plays for them. He joined this season.

Wirzt cost Liverpool arms and legs but he's not much better than Baena who cost way less. Baena doesn't have the aesthetics but he's a way serious creator and better work rate than Wirzt.

The only excuse for Tico is that, they missed out on Beana, Alavarez and Thiago Amada. But considering who's their coach, I think they still lose the game easily. Take Simeone to Liverpool with same players and take Slot to Tico and the result still wouldn't change in my opinion.

They were without for starters in Baena, Amada, Cardoso and Alvarez so them really try if you ask me.

So coaching is also key. It's why Barca despite playing with same team, looked far more stronger than the Barca Xavi coached.
