This is why Labour Party is in disarray no foresight
How many people died as a result in Rivers state, how many has died in Kastina ?

oga I cannot be bamboozled by any Nigerian politicians, they are all the same. The same peter obi that govern Anambra or another abegi
What is your stake about him Governing Anambra Statehuh?

Do you know how Anambra State was before he became Governorhuh
A State that is being held hostage by god fathers, a State that was in darkness, where the former Governor said there was zero allocation....
Peter Obi paid all the pensioners from the time of Mbadinuju....

A State where all State facilities where burnt I including a section of the Government house...

If Tinubu couldn't do anything when Lagos State IGR was 70% greater than that of Anambra State, and still find his way to Presidency, then people of better qualification should be regarded ..

What do you even know about the Anambra State before he became

I swear to me they are just average politicians.let me start from the top as you mentioned.l was in Anambra state when obi ruled as a governor,I know the kind of backlash and criticism he received as a governor cos I was in onitcha, sokoto Rd precisely.
Obasanjo who introduced money bag politics trying to buy third term,if not for the resilience of Abba ghali the then HOR oga, also it was under his nose most of the privatisation that happened in Nigeria.
Jonathan had opportunity for the fact that we hard a favourably oil price increased during his time, but he was clueless and indifferent to a lot of issues which leads to the sorry state interms of insecurities e.g the Boko Haram issues,he was not tough enough to go against the saboteurs in his government.
Chime,I don't know much about his own government as at the time when he ruled,so I can't say much about him.
Ambode is also an average politician,he was also seen as a weak governor although,he tried to perform but due to the forces that brought him in,they cut short his stays.
During obasanjo era, governors were impeached e.g. Fayose, Rasheed ladoja, Alamaighsia I don't know if i got his name correctly. Obi didn't conduct local government election in Anambra for 8 years. He conducted the election 2 or 3 months before he left office. During Jonathan era he brought all forces in Nigeria to regain Osun state for PDP during the second term struggle of Aregbesola which osun resisted. During Jonathan era 16 members of assembly were assumed to be more than 19 members in one of the states controlled by PDP. Snake swallowed money and monkey ate money, dasuki money etc. Politicians are the same they are all waiting to get there

But that what was not the case when Obasanjo n Ebele impose state of emergency. It is only the case when it is Tinubu ba ?!

PlasmaTV:
I agree 100%. As I said before, in the coming years, a president who doesn't like Lagos state governor can yank him out and install his preferred puppet.

Tinubu and Wike caused this. And they have set a terrible precedent.
Re: Rivers: Tinubu's Emergency Rule Will Hurt Democracy For A Long Time - Obi by Nwadiuto1: 11:28am On Sep 18, 2025
Ah, Peter Obi don talk again. The man that can spot a mistake faster than a virgin can spot bloodstains on the wedding night sheet.

He said Tinubu’s emergency rule in Rivers is a constitutional breach that will haunt democracy. My brother, which democracy? The same democracy that INEC strangled like a goat in a Sallah market? Nigeria’s democracy is already in coma what’s left to hurt?

Tinubu doesn’t care about Rivers, democracy, or even his own trousers staying up straight. The man only cares about power like a randy dog cares about humping. Emergency rule to him is just another erection short lived, selfish, and leaving everybody else sore.

And Obi with his saintly grammar, saying, “Great minds remind us that the only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.” Abeg Nigeria doesn’t learn. We’ve been repeating the same exam since 1960 and still scoring F9. The matter don dey too tiring.

He congratulated Rivers people for their endurance. Endurance is Nigeria’s middle name. We’ve endured bad roads, endured blackout, endured kidnappers, endured incompetent leaders, endured poverty, na only condom shortage remain for us to endure before this country bursts.

And Obi is still chanting “a new Nigeria is possible.” My guy, that slogan don expire like pure water sachet left under hot sun. Nigerians don’t need “possible,” they need tangible. Until then, emergency rule or no emergency rule, the real emergency is Nigeria itself.

Yes, he has handled it impressively, and he’s not the kind of father who would abandon his family because of a crisis—that idea is just ridiculous. Even within families, crises are normal, but abandoning your family because of them is unforgivable.

As for the governors: as long as they don’t interfere with other democratic structures, no president will attempt to remove them. In the long run, this will mean greater power and independence for state legislatures. That kind of nonsense Obaseki pulled under Buhari should have no place in our political system.

This is so true.. because when another government comes in and a state governor is not dancing to his tune, he will just declare a state of emergency and nothing will happen. Where then Is the democracy

What are his promises?
We have gone to verify and we have the result to tender that Peter Obi did nothing as governor for 8 years 😂 😆
All his promises and loyalty to Ojukwu all died coz he's a serial betrayal.

I see a northern president using same tactics tinubu used in Rivers to apply it to Lagos state.

An Hausa man will rule Lagos for six months!
