Providus Bank is your best option at this time

I currently use GTBank naira Mastercard. It works for all my dollar payments and subscriptions on all the platforms I operate. The best part is the lower rate compared with fintech dollar cards.

I believe Grey is also a better alternative. Will checkout the others (Timon, Geegpay & Bitnob) recommended by users.

I thought it's only me.. here's the thing.. use your first bank or other banks master card on your iPhone if it's a nigeria itunes. If its USA just use eversend youll thank me. and for day to day purchase eversend is the best.. chipper almost killed me

don't mind them, they are enemies of Nigeria their own country. I use GTBank seamlessly with reasonable rates, it is serving me well. Seems they want to use apps created my enemies of Nigeria to milk Nigerians with high rate so that they keep complaining about naira/dollar rate, so be it. They should continue

Me too. You can now use your GTB and Access naira cards with a limit of $2000 USD per quarter.

You can now pay with your normal GT CARD! Who else noticed? Paid more than $100 last week , and it was debited after converted !

I now use Cardtonic.
I stopped using Chippercash because they kept terminating my virtual USD saying there was no funds when one of my subscriptions tries to debit or so. ( they don't even waste time to take you off)
And each time you reactivate , its 3k.

I don't think I had that issue with Cardtonic.

Gtbank naira card is cheaper.
And has better dollar rates than chipper cash

I use UBA card for my Apple Music subscription. It works fine and cheaper than Chipper 😃

Get a Providus Bank Naira card. It's very good. It even works with PayPal.

All you need to do is open a Providus Bank account.

Purchases are limited to $1,000 per month. If you want unlimited purchaez, you go for their dollar card.

I've used Grey and Cleva. I prefer Grey to Cleva. Grey Charge lesser than Cleva in terms of funding from your naira account to the card in dollars. To enjoy Cleva you'll have to make a large deposit so you won't have to be funding little by little.

As long as you don't spend more than $4000 every 3 months, why not use GTBanks Naira Mastercard to pay?

As of yesterday September 17, 2025, their rate was about ₦1,494. per dollar.

There are sites that the Geegpay card won't work on, but I've never seen a site that the Cleva card doesn't work on.

It's what I have been using for the past 3 years hassle free.

Since the floating of the Naira, there's very little difference now between the official and black market rate.
