Benbellamor:As long as a married person is marrying again whilst still married, it is polygamy. So no need to deceive yourself |

Benbellamor:I have already pointed out the connection in asking you whether you would say tha stealing an ox or sheep in Exodus is permitted since both of them started with "if'? Exodus 22:1 "If a man steal an ox, or sheep and..." And you cannot answer |

MaxInDHouse:Don't mix incest with polygamy. In the beginning we can see everyone had one wife until the the grandson of the child of unrighteousness set the world record. And from the lineage of righteousness, you can see all of them had one wife. And this is why Christ was completely right and accurate when He expressly pointed out that polygamy was never something God would approve. And this is where you are making the error of judicial precedent of because God judged right fully in a specific case then you now think that that that judgement is applicable across board. No. All these cases are exceptional and they met the standard where the just is, landed on this side so that evil is condemned and righteousness upheld. Even in the judiciary there are many judgements which courts have in righteousnes but courts are warned not to take them as precedent. Therefore, every case must be decided on their own merits. And that is why there is a thing called "Exceptions". Exceptio est strictissimae applicationis - :“An exception is of the strictest application.” An exception does not undermine the general rule.... |

Benbellamor:Even you must see that you are talking rubbish. Yes, Jethro brought Zipporah and children to Moses, yet, first you see that Jethro does not accuse Moses of wrongdoing. Secondly, you see the bible shows that Moses gladly received Jethro but did not receive Zipporah. And thirdly, you see that Moses and Jethro have a great time together but Zipporah is not there. This should have told you that when Moses rejected and boned her, she then went back home as she must do. Then to crush your immature imaginations, even from Jethro's visit to Miriam, no where is Zipporah mentioned. And then finally, it is seen that Miriam did not say "why are you taking a wife when your wife and children are at home" |
