Dejong was a beast today ooo. I no go lie. Person wey body Joelington and co. Not playing a ridiculous high line also helped him. Normally, high line requires the DM(sweeper) to be more steady while the front press like crazy. Mid block or should I say semi high line was used today. It's why the defence didn't suffer much like other games with ultra high line. This mid block also helped Araujo somehow. I think everybody played well today.

If Ferran dey hit double digit, players like Haaland, Mbabe will absolutely shatter records under Flick. Average Gnabry had his best ever season under him. He's a very attacking oriented coach.

Yeahh there has been lots of dislike and disrespect by Barca fans towards FdJ, who in my opinion, is an excellent central midfielder. Yes he is not rugged or physical, so that might deceive people to think he is weak and lazy.

Everyone showed similar disrespect to a certain Sergio Busquets when he was playing at the top level but people now realise he was a rarity in his role and people now watch his videos to learn how to play as a DM/CM.

I am not saying FdJ is at the level of Busquets but his excellent positioning, passing range and control are often overlooked because he didn't win a header or body his way through a crowd of opponents.

I do hope Marc Bernal offers us everything FdJ lacks in physicality and in other subtle aspects but the pros of FdJ as a DM for Barca, far outweighs his cons.
