A delusion is an unshakeable, false belief that is maintained despite clear evidence to the contrary.

The use of the word wasn’t meant to be disrespect. However, for the records, he opened “your” eyes. Some of us knew about solar before Nairaland.

Just because he or anyone else opens or starts a thread, it now means they cannot be mentioned and they should be treated like “gods?”
You seriously have issues. Georged1 just stated is battery banks are still serviing him. And you were so angered to write this , brother why ...

Georged1 , is the OG of this forum, i always enjoyed his posting then because he shared is journey towards self sufficiency in solar generation.
He encourage most of us towards that path and i am happy i tagged along.

Now if you also have reached that , with a different type of battery. Doesn't give the right to insult people, because their views is different yours. You are begining to sound like orange man.

Question:
My parents keeps burning and mistakenly overloading their small 1000w Famicare inverters.
It has gone for repair atleast 3 times this year already.
Is there a way i can connect a load breaker for like 500-600w that will trip off whenever something higher goes into it?

Where can I get jinko panels?
Not available on fouani

I don't see any technical reason why you can not connect batteries with same chemistry and similar voltages in parallel. When batteries are conncetd in parallel, they act as individual batteries merely taking and contributing to the pool based on their internal resistance which depends on capacity and voltage. During charging, they take what they need and stop taking once they are full. During discharging, they give whatever they have until their voltages get to that of thers in the parrallel configuration. It is the same behaviour whether there is a BMS or not.

However, manufacturers sometimes give specific instructions about their products, not for technical reasons, but for warranty purposes. It gives them the opportunity to dodge warranty claims if they can prove that your usage was "out of specification". It also helps them simplify troubleshooting when their is a problem.

By the way, I currently run four LFP batteries in parrallel. Two have JK-BMS, one has an ANT BMS and the last has a JBD BMS. They have been running in harmony for years now with no problem. I'm able to monitor the performance of each of them through their smart BMSes.
Thank you

A voltage/current limiter AVR on the output side will serve this purpose. Just input the max current you want it to draw. Assuming your inverter output is 220v, with this your 600wax, max current draw should be set at 600/220 = ~2.7amp

You knew about solar before nairaland:okay. How many people have benefited from your knowledge:nil
You dont have to repeat what has been said just to make people realize you also know things. 95% of data here are repetitions of simple things.

if you understood the meaning of that BI , then you would know the answer to your question is a Capital NO

Naturally, I always often discourage clients going for such. The extra cost is never worth it coupled with the fact most times, we mount flat on roof top / car port

Just buy yourself the regular solar panels, go for MONO and be done with it

A voltage protector that even allows you set values is all you need.

Currently got a spare one sef BUT check market or ask in here, those selling should tell you.

Wouldn't be surprised the repairer didn't suggest that to you, if e no burn / spoil, na how e wan take chop

Isn't it generally agreed upon now that bifacials are fine to mount on a flat roof? You'll only miss out on the extra power that comes from reflecting rays on the other side.

Most people struggle to understand basic physics, Instead make Dem do practical test, they will continue to push wrong narrative.

Bifacial offers better performance even on the Roof.
And they are even cheaper!

My Bifacial outperforms Mono..

you sef think am na. So make I pay for 3 wraps of FuFu when at end of the day, na only 1 wrap I go chop
Who looses (the BUYer) and who gains (the Seller) ?

The difference is bifacial isn't more expensive than monofacial at the same rating, so you're not "paying for three fufu" and eating one. You're paying for one with the option of getting some extra if you want.

Tbf, I also thought bifacial performs worse for a long time until people here started posting their actual data.

I wonder what the downside is sha. Worse long term durability, maybe?

Na so them talk down on lithium until recently that majority is agreeing with us after they have first hand experience.

Heat Dissipation is better, back side still see lights since there are transparent spaces on the panels itself, Glass on Bifacial is 1.5X thicker than mono.

Anyone talking down on Bifacial without using one or providing tangible data is inexperienced and ignorant.

yea, when a phone is advertised as having powerBank, you not actually paying for the extra large capacity battery bank compared to another phone of similar spec with normal battery.

Even on eCommerce websites, FREE shipping means FREE 100% ba.

At end of the day, there's always a Y even when you don't realize it
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Dam5reey(m): 1:24pm On Sep 19, 2025
A 590W Bificial and 590 Mono are priced similar Bi facial is likely cheaper now.
And all I need is 590W, Bificial delivers on that. I don't understand which extra you are paying for that you cant use. Cause at peak Irradiation Bificial generates more, added advantage for same pricing.

Hello, is anyone familiar with this product? A friend bought this inverter few months ago. It recently started beeping this rainy season, refuses to turn off when one presses the power button.
The installer told him it was poor product, the shop told him the installer is lying.
