I still don't understand why most people are so hypocritical on regious matters.
The poster is quick to cast an aspersion on the lady simply because she was on Niqab without clearly reviewing the points she made in the course of that argument as he claimed. Must humans be judged on the basis of dressing or the view they hold on critical matters?
Will the poster had said same he if met his biological mother trying to correct or push her opinion based on her conviction?
They always seen ladies as less privileged, the same way they have turned Afghanistan to something else. I wonder what would have become the world assuming everyone is practicing one faith.
I just hope this fanatical ideas be totally condemned and rejected forthwith.

Caaz:
Yes zaddy....simply put you re implying the lady should have kept quiet without airing her opinion...the way you guys are in haste to silent women really calls for concern.

All in the name of religion....a woman airing her opinion is seen as uncouth because she was doning the hijab and her opinions does not matter.
Simply put,the hijab was more valuable to you than her opinion......shows how you shush your women at home.

Women are now second classed citizens.... Allow women to talk,to feel free to say their mind, its no longer a man's world, women too are human beings.
A religion where women are not allowed to expressed theirselves...

For jaguda like me...ko le werk.
Hmmm. Whether a woman or a man, I think everyone should imbibe modesty and order and learn not to talk on top of each other. This is a characteristic of civilised humans.

I think that should be your position rather than enabling bad behaviour because women are being targeted.

Lukgaf:
No doubt, modesty (ḥayāʼ) is gradually being lost in our community. Sadly, this is even among Muslims and worse still, among those who claim to follow the culture of the Prophet.

A few weeks ago, I witnessed something disturbing. A sister in niqāb was surrounded by men, debating loudly about issues of marriage. The debate itself was not the problem, but the way she raised her voice among men while wearing the niqāb was deeply embarrassing. One wonders: where is the sincerity? Where is the modesty?

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“If you have no shame (modesty), then do whatever you like.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 3483)

Modesty should reflect in how we dress, how we speak, and how we relate to others.

For women and men, dressing properly is part of īmān.

The way we talk with humility and responsibility shows our faith.

Our actions should never make people point fingers and say mockingly: “And you call yourself an Alfa? Or an Eleha? A Muslim?”

We must reclaim this lost jewel. Let us be modest, let us be sincere, and let us serve as role models for others.

May Allah assist us, purify our hearts, and make us people of true modesty. Āmīn.
I'm not sure you really know what hijab is.. talk less of identifying how it looks like
Re: Modesty: A Lost Jewel In Our Community by NeoWanZaeed(m): 2:02pm On Sep 19, 2025
Problem with people is.. they don't want to listen to the truth. They hate it.

Hijab that Sheikh Jabata did series of lectures on how to wear it and the conditions of wearing it.

As long as you leave any of your parts open..(face, hands, legs).. that's not hijab.

Speaking and mixing with non mahram.. you've invalidated your hijab.
Re: Modesty: A Lost Jewel In Our Community by NeoWanZaeed(m): 2:03pm On Sep 19, 2025
I've seen a woman wearing complete hijab.mans I saw her kneeling to greet..

The Men She was communicating with didn't mind it. She was communicating with Them in the manner they already understand especially as She was the only female and they were already used to Her tone and mannerism. Do not judge so U too will not be judged. U are on the outside looking in. If She was a Governors daughter now U won't complain if she is loud, U will say it's activism. Please allow Females to have their own opinions, for the fact the boys are plenty like that gisting with Her it shows they are more accepting than U. Dem no pick offence why na U e dey disturb na?

exactly. Truth is gonna always be Truth but Religion can always be bent to satisfy one's agenda. Example the whites legalising slavery via the bible and Arabs making slaves of blacks via quran.

You know nothing

You jumped on an Islamic thread to be spew nothing and it is still nothing.

You are right, religion is different from the truth and Islam is the religion of truth.

Qur’an 9:33 “It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth (dīn al-ḥaqq) to make it prevail over all other religion, even if the polytheists dislike it.”
