They get abroad and realize money doesn’t grow on trees. That it’s hard to come by and save because of bills and taxes. I would say 'hacked' because he accessed their system and changed things (created email, email rules and then used this email to defraud the university). Wire fraud could just be coming up with a good story..without compromising the target's system.

The forfeiture is a conviction in itself. If he was innocent he would not have been asked to forfeit such a huge amount. They can't just ask you to forfeit your money if you are not guilty.

Like seriously! The national orientation agency needs to be doing way much more! But then, orientation has to start from the basic unit of spciety- the family. What are the moral values instilled at home these days? Parents openly hyping their children for been involved in fraud!
Inasmuch as the government over the years has neglected the NOA, the family has way more to do before the NOA backs it off. .
