Known scammers. From western Nigeria to USA to Canada to Brazil and ultimately to the UK. Crime knows no section we tell them, it's an individual thing
But why is that some crimes are common with some tribe?
Yoruba - Wire fraud
Igbos- drugs.

Destroying the country's image abroad then they'll still come and blame tinubu. Many Nigerians are just so selfish and greedy

The report is correct oga. He did hack their system and insert things that didn't belong there. That was how the wire fraud he did could be successful.

What a sad time for patriotic and honorable personality like my humble self.

Some people are just determined to soil the name of this great country.

If not fraud, then it’s drugs or car jacking.

His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) needs to start investing in reorientation.
He doesn't base in Nigeria, may be UK prime minister should start doing that

Like seriously! The national orientation agency needs to be doing way much more! But then, preimctation has to start from the basic unit of spciety- the family. What are the moral values instilled at home these days? Parents openly hyping their children for been involved in fraud!
Inasmuch as the government over the years has neglected the NOA, the family has way more to do before the NOA backs it off. .
I 100% agree with you. Valid point you made.

From 2023 that you stole over $200k, you still remained in the UK only to be arrested in September 2025. You didn't know that the chances of you getting caught and extradited in the UK is very high compared to you chilling in your village in Ekiti beyond the long arms of the FBI. You are just dumb like those people that will defraud the US from Nigeria then fly into the same US only to be nabbed at the airport.

The forfeiture is a conviction in itself. If he was innocent he would not have been asked to forfeit such a huge amount. They can't just ask you to forfeit your money if you are not guilty.
Sigh….

Forfeiture without conviction is a criminal offense?

So if I evaded taxes for a decade and had to forfeit my property to the court without being convicted means I am a criminal?

Over 350 million Naira fraud.

I don't know why these guys do this. Many people from other countries have the capabilities (knowledge) to do these kinds of fraud...but the question is, why should they take such a risk? Because the Feds are so thorough that they will fish you out even if its 50 years later.

Nigerians are the greatest risk takers on the planet. Either that or they are highly ignorant about the consequences of these kinds of crime.

How can one in God's green earth stay in the UK and defraud the USA? Two countries who are the same people.

That's a death wish.

Now you making false allegations against my honorable and highly esteemed self.

What evidences do you have against me or His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR)?

And then another one .This is the number three high profile fraud cases I have read on nairaland today involving people from south west. No body is commenting because they are not from the people of the rising sun. All name checkers have sudden gone dumb.

Avoid the US if you are a yahoo boy or drug pusher . Their security and intelligence gathering system is too sophisticated for you to escape justice. They must definitely catch you. Ask Tinubu if you're in doubt
Which useless security? Their system is vulnerable joor😏

Just $235,000 and he got nabbed. He'll definitely learn some punishing lessons for his folly. There's NO room for nonsense behavior here as there's a digital trail of transactions. Those Russians and citizens of former Communist countries are even more daring with their crimes as they have been known to steal millions of USD.
