is it my eyes or do i see just a single room with chairs and devices still wrapped in platic bags like they were deliberately kept for show-off? we even had more than 90 centres across the nation for passport production, yet it takes some people as long as a whole year before getting their passports? Till we eradicate corruption, Nigeria has a very long way to go... |

My only concern is logistics distribution ..can they distribute to all pickup locations and meet the timely demand. |

This seems counterproductive... If the 96 production centres were adequately manned and equipment provided, that would translate to about 25,000 passports per day... Now that it is centralised, it reduces to 5,000 passports per day... how is that more productive? Look at Drivers' licence that is centralised... it takes over 180 days to renew a license. So why adopt a system that is clearly flawed? The government is making the same mistake it did with subsidy removal and devaluation of the Naira. Rather than addressing the inefficiencies and corruption that made the systems unsustainable, they are shifting the burden to the masses. Time will tell. |

I expect you would at the very least be an Undergraduate. Something was done to align with world's best practise and standard, but you are looking for 96 special centres up and down. Damn, school aint scam afterall Ofunaofu: |

natureisgood:What is world’s best practice? When the 96 centers were established, it was as well described as world’s best practice, ensuring timely processing and bringing services closer to passport applicants. |

Wait, I don't understand, you had 96 centres, producing 250-300 passports/day which is approx- 28,000 passports/per day, but then you swapped it for one decentralised centre that produces 4500 - 5000 passports/day in Abuja for Nigerians from 36 states - over 150 million of them. How does that make sense? Abi na me no dey grab? |
