America is the most popular country in the world and almost everywhere wants to visit there in their lifetime because their movies, music, technology, etc. promote the country as a country that you need to visit in your lifetime.

When the government imposes taxes on tourists coming to spend their hard-earned money in your country, you are discouraging them. They will look for alternatives.

Watch that video and see the comments section. You will see people from all over the world (not even Africans) saying that they cancelled their trips to America because of Trump. Then, you will see people from other countries begging them to visit their countries.

Why's Trump making such decisions? You think he never thought of it? They also have to protect their jobs as well because there are over 7million unemployed USA citizens in the US, companies brings in immigrants in other to get cheap labor. H1 visa holders are not classified as cheap labour, these are individuals with specialised skills that a lot of Americans does not have.

Trump's order is due to come into force on 21 September. It would only apply to new requests, but companies would have to pay the same amount for each applicant for six years, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said.

"The company needs to decide... is the person valuable enough to have a $100,000-a-year payment to the government, or they should head home, and they should go hire an American," he said, adding: "All of the big companies are on board."

Since 2004, the number of H-1B applications has been capped at 85,000 per year.

Until now, H-1B visas have carried various administrative fees totalling around $1,500.
