Barely 24 hours after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a former governorship aspirant, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, has met with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

An Ekiti-born politician, who preferred anonymity, confirmed that Fayose is already in talks to pitch his tent with the ADC.

During the consultation visit, Aregbesola was said to have encouraged him to “join” ADC without further delay, assuring that the party remains open to strong grassroots leaders.

Fayose had on Thursday released a widely publicised video where he described the PDP as a “compromised party,” accusing its leadership of being “stooges for the ruling party, APC.”

His sudden meeting with Aregbesola has further fuelled speculations that his political base may now shift to the ADC as the party continues to position itself as an alternative force ahead of the next general elections.

Did you also send Sanwo-olu to fund Atiku’s election or he did that on his own? Why is Mrs Achimugu still being hounded? The latest one by Seunmsg is that Tinubu declared SOE in Rivers to prevent Fubara from funding Atiku’s election. Dangote was also raided early into the administration on allegation of funding Atiku. Bayo Ojulari got same allegation just few days into his administration. Why does everyone keep funding Atiku’s election against Tinubu or is it just paranoia?
