Paternity Fraud: Should She Confess To Her Husband? by jmoore(op): 4:51pm On Sep 20, 2025
I was listening to a radio programme recently when a woman called in to share a very heavy story. She is married and has six children in total five girls and one boy. From the outside, she appears to have a complete and happy home, but she said she hasn’t had peace of mind for years because of a secret she’s been carrying.

Before her marriage, she had a final “sendforth” encounter with her ex-boyfriend. Not long after, she discovered she was pregnant. Deep within her, she has always been certain that the child from that pregnancy, the only boy among her six children belongs to her ex and not her husband.

For years she buried this truth, convincing herself that it was best not to disturb the peace of her marriage. But recently, she said her heart has been restless. She feels guilty every time she looks at her husband and her son, and she no longer knows how to live with the weight of that secret. The question now tormenting her is whether to finally confess to her husband and risk tearing her family apart, or to continue carrying the burden silently for the sake of 'peace' at home.

It was a sobering moment on the programme. The pain in her voice reflected the complex emotions that come with paternity issues, guilt, fear, love for her children, and the uncertainty of what truth might do to her family.

1 John 3:20
[20]For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
If she desires Peace of mind here on Earth and Eternal life with GOD in Eternity, she should do the Needful and confess to te Husband.

The Highest man can do is to kill her.
GOD ALMIGHTY Will kill and throw into Hell.

She knows the right thing to do but she has consistently failed so I have nothing to say other than I thank God for my peace of mind! Some people don’t appreciate peace until it becomes elusive to them.

Did the husband tell you he committed all you listed?

Adultery is different from paternity fraud. No man has ever forced maternity on a woman in this world.

She should learn to live without peace for the rest of her life or elect to be selfish and shatter the peace of 7 people.

If you are a regular listener to radio, you should know some callers don't disclose their identities in scenarios like this.

Selfish? I doubt if you understand the meaning of the word selfish. Cos she is the epitome of selfishness. Her son doesn't know his biological father because of her selfishness. Her husband doesn't know the son is not his because of her selfishness.

Imagine studying medicine and graduating, then the university gives you a degree in carpentry.

That means she was pregnant with the ex's baby when she married her husband, or they were doing marriage preparations when she slept with her ex and got pregnant? She needs to tell her husband the truth, not continue deceiving him and living in deceit herself. She should get a DNA perternity test to confirm and if the boy does belongs to her ex, she should come clean to her husband. This is the right way forward, but the decision is hers to make. I only feel bad for the man.

Ofcourse, it only takes one listener who knows the voice and a bit of the story to connect the dots. Can you believe that a friend I went to school with a gazillion years ago sent me a post I made a thousand years ago because she thought that person writes like me....she didn't even know I was on NL. Dey play grin

I'm not surprised the women on this forum are warning the woman to keep quiet and hide the truth from her husband. Tomorrow, these same vile and heartless beings will expect men to support, defend and protect them. They also expect us to show sympathy/empathy whenever they're in trouble. I laugh in Greek. They ain't seen nothing yet grin
