christejames:Electing someone like Tinubu was not a safety precaution for those who did... May the soul of the departed rest in peace and may the injured recover quickly |

christejames:I have been working on a research to prove that God did not create 90% of Nigerians and just happen to be a creation of a lesser god. Never have I seen a citizen of a country that is so QUICK to ridicule and shame their country the way Nigerians do. So in 2025, you are hearing from me first that safety is a continuous learning and improvement process and accidents are unavoidable and can only be minimized. Just because of one explosion, you are so quick to ridicule the WHOLE country. Does your logic also apply to far more advanced countries that have explosions rocking their facilities? No! You are just programmed to detest and castigate your OWN country at ANY given instance. |

Brendaniel:At every moment you or your ilk see anyone mention Gregory, you all come around asking why he is mentioned. Here you are, calling Tinubu over fire incident in DICON. Is Tinubu the safety officer of DICON? |

Richtaiwo:Who's the president and commander in chief? Like the ultimate boss who appointed those inept officers causing explosion with ammonia nitrate? Let's see, maybe he appointed them, because they're from his tribe like you? |

I hope Kaduna would be placed under state of emergency. Because of the violence there. We say no to state capture. |

CoronaVirusPro:The guy said the bitter truth. If you are privileged to assess the safety of our Nigerian industries, the outcome will shock you. Accidents are occurring almost daily, injuring & claiming the lives of workers due to poor safety measures, and you are here arguing. Pls don't argue, investigate and come back with your findings here. |

Sometimes seeing the way Nigerian escaped some incidents due to poor safety measures...I can only say God lives in Nigeria and Visit other places. |

gbagyiza:Dude was not arguing; he was stating facts. Nigerians have very low self-esteem, coupled with an unhealthy dose of misplaced confidence. We are so quick to condemn and ridicule Nigeria. We seem to find some sick pleasure in condemning ourselves as a country, especially when the people in power are not of our ethnicities. It is so bad that I once saw a South African woman challenging some Nigerians, wondering why we always love to condemn Nigeria online. We are de-marketing Nigeria too much. Granted, you are actually right o; we are so careless and have terrible maintenance culture, but Imagine if those weekly air crashes in the USA in the past year were happening in Nigeria. Imagine if the weekly shootings in the USA were happening in Nigeria. |

brain54:Abeg my brother don't even reason go that side. The day Nigeria decides to build a nuclear facility would be the Day I Japa comot this place for good and never to come back again because I'm sure there would be a nuclear fallout within 10 years of that facility going online and we don't have any health facilities to treat and manage the thousands/ millions of people who are going to be affected by the radiation. |

CoronaVirusPro:Thanks for sharing Found your approach a bit funny But seriously... Why is this even headline news on the largest forum in Africa? Of course, bad news gets more clicks than good news (and more clicks attract more potential advertisers..) Recently remember hearing someone say that the local CNN broadcasts in the US are completely different from the nicer image they project to the world Why can't we at least look for ways to better manage our own narrative? |

The fact those things were not disposed long after they had expired tells u alot about their systems and operations. |
