I always sit on the fence when people are discussing Maresca's tactics, but tonight he killed the game by pulling attackers after the red card. Instead of trying a new tactic, he chose the coward’s way and gave United the chance to bomb forward. It’s impossible to defend for over 80 minutes without committing errors.

If I were him, this would have been the perfect time for me to try another tactic, because nobody could blame me if I lost, I have already have an excuse for the defeat. But he chose the easiest way, the coward’s way.

Pedro Neto (even though he didn't do too well vs Bayern) is literally the perfect winger to have in your side if you go down to 10 men.

He is an energizer bunny who can fill-in as a wingback, but also can get forward and get behind the defense. Subbing both him and Estevao out at the same time when the game was 0-0 was absolutely mental.

In that post, I blamed Maresca for today's result.

Enzo is not in good form. When a player isn't in form, you drop him and slowly introduce him again. Arteta is doing it with Odegaard, Mourinho did it with Ozil at Madrid, Wenger, Fergie, Pep etc all did it with underperforming star players. Even Vini has been dropped occasionally this season and slowly getting back to full form.

Drop Enzo first and slowly bring him back to the starting lineup if you must. Can't you see that he's not the same player, has lost a step and needs a re set?
