What stigma are you talking about or you're going out telling people that you are positive?! Well I've been living with it for 5 years now and only my family, my ex( she is negative and was negative and she knew and we did it without protection) and my two of my distance friends. I REMEMBER WHEN EVERYONE WAS CALLING THIS A DEATH SENTENCE. Thank heavens for science. Still there is an unanswered question somewhere. An estimate of some 40 million DEATHS from the time of the hype (when AIDS was discovered) - translates to less than 80K deaths per month globally since AIDS was discovered (old age alone does some five million per month). Malaria, by contrast, does over 50k per month in just sub saharan Africa, not the whole world - till date oh. Contrast is HIV figures are global and from inception or discovery. If we look at Malaria in the same way, the figures would be boundless. I am missing something because for the length of time it took to find Anti Retros for HIV and the rate at which humans knack, AIDS ought to have killed a few billion, if not more than half of humanity. There is a theory that AIDS is not caused by HIV, but it is fringe and might be conspiracy tilted in nature. 3 Likes |

I know how hurtful it is to find oneself in a situation as being infected with a dangerous disease by someone you trust. But the truth is that HIV in itself is not a death sentence if you maintain a healthy life style and take the right medications. There are many HIV patients I know of that are being living with the virus for many years, jet still go about living their normal life. I advised you think less about the circumstances you find yourself, instead focus on living your normal. The deed is done already, there's no amount of self regret or blames that can reverse it! 2 Likes |
