So where will a chief of staff get the money to buy land that will appreciate to 300m in the space of four years? Don't forget his salary is 600k. Nobody has said he should be poor. Except you mean anyone who doesn't own a house in the US paid in full by cash is poor.
There are so many Nigerians who travel abroad to give birth and are citizens of those countries and they don't own houses there. In fact, most Nigerians who live and work in such countries like the US and own homes own them through mortgage not outright payment.

Besides this, Florida's property tax is 0.8% per annum and at present valuation of those properties will amount to $24000. Where will a Nigerian minister and federal judge be able to get N36m every year to fund such tax if I may ask?

Firstly our constitution says a political office holder should not own property or operate bank account abroad while in office, going by the dates on the documents provided by Sowore all of the said properties were acquired while he was occupying public offices. His wife's salary as a judge cannot buy such properties neither can Wike's salaries as a civil servant.

You guys should cut wike some slack, some of the politicians you support have more properties with higher value in the US and other places, heck Atiku had a $40m property in the US, Tinubu bought condos in new York for his daughters for larger amounts, what's so special in wikes family buying properties? If you have proof that he stole money to buy the properties, go to court in florida to tender your proof. Nobody came to life to count bridges , enough with the sanctimonious bulllshiit on the Internet

Section 7 of the Code of Conduct Bureau & Tribunal Act (Act Cap 56, Laws of Federation of Nigeria 1990), public officers are required to declare all assets, income, and liabilities. This includes bank accounts.
DECLARE, it doesn't say don't own. And there's nothing Sowore has shown to prove that Wike owns an account abroad or not.
The law prohibits a public officer from operating a bank account outside Nigeria while in office, unless approved or declared.
