Most of this white and Chinese expatriates in Nigeria are serving prison terms in there country but were posted to Nigeria to serve there prison sentence as expatriates.. They are the people taking up the juicy jobs meant for Nigerians.
If prisoners could be that expert, then I think Nigerians need to start applying for their prisons for educational purposes 🤣

Someone on 180k a month salary was assisted to secure a job of 850k a month not up to 3 months in so so insubordination and lateness due to every calamity known to man. Month 5 he was sacked and started to look for someone to help him beg his oga. A lot don’t have the discipline for work and constantly looking for schemes to defraud the company.

Boys be subjected to modern day slavery while the so called expatriates mostly prisoners from Asia be eating the fat of the land doing nothing. The even pay them smoking allowances while the locals gets nothing of such. Even the Amayanabo that would have been of help has personal hatred for the people he claims to rule. Apart from train 7 projects wey boys use dey guide there's nothing else in the land
and some enemies are here saying unionism is bad to company. This is what workers are facing in many companies.

This only reminded me about my late dad because he was a staunch member of NAPO and worked on the other trains of the NLNG projects in Bonny.

NLNG should do well to grant their demands! These are hardworking men who are using their skills to make ends meet.

What I find interesting is the refusal to mention their exact salary range? These are not minimum wage people they’ll self resolve eventually.

Unfortunately, most Nigerians don't verify news before jumping on it. Even the Media houses are now very lazy to do due diligences before publishing news or articles.

The workers protesting are employees of a subcontractor on the T7 Project, and that's Daewoo workers, mostly the welders and fitters. SDUJV which is the contractor, including NLNG T7 Management as client have shown solidarity with the workers and already steered the subcontractor to do the right thing. This article here was published to taint NLNG corporate image but the truth is that, NLNG is not owing any funds to the Contractor/Subcontractor or the workers. There are contract terms and clients don't have that authority to interfere directly in financial issues.

We hope they are able to resolve these issues soon, as more stakeholders are being pulled into the struggle.

Also, the poster should note that Chiyoda had long pulled out of the consortium, leaving Saipem and Daewoo as an unincorporated joint venture.

The tax goes to River's state government you can see why Wike refused to leave Rivers state money. Billion comes as IGR monthly. Infact the direct staff pay 21 Naira out of every 100 Naira they earn as tax to Rivers State government.

Why is the EFCC and whoever not stepping in?....collecting monies for tax but not r mitting to the FG? ...and nothing happens? We are our worst enemies. When 95% of the work is done and the workers are not made right ..they should sabotage the project....skilled workers would know what to do.

That should not have been an issue. Transparency is lacking as the employees are seeking redress.

This tax thing will cause serious issue in Nigeria by next year.

The guys involved here are even oil and gas workers who are relatively richer than most citizens.

By time the real struggling Nigerians especially business owners and end-price consumers begin to feel the weight of Tinubu's law, I hope serious uprising will not occur.

Nigeria needs a reset.

The very annoying and obvious thing is that the collective monies and wipped off the hands of suffering people are handed over to governors and politicians who keeps buying properties in UAE, US etc. So sad.
Every obvious you can't comprehend a write up. It clearly stated the workers are protesting that the 150k removed from their salary is not getting to the federal government because no one has a TIN number.

Tinubu started it in Lagos. When you check your tax paid to the record with LIRS there is usually discrepancies. It started when Alpha-Beta took over tax management in Lagos. Criminals everywhere.
This information is not correct probably localized to you alone because my tax deductions from my payslips and records in LIRS are in order..
Not a single kobo missing so please don’t spread wrong info..start asking questions where you work.
