Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has once again criticised the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Atiku made this statement in a post on his verified X handle on Sunday.

According to him, the Tinubu-led APC administration poses the greatest risk to Nigeria’s democracy since the return of democratic governance.

The 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also alleged that the administration has turned into a full-blown dictatorship.

He made the remarks during a solidarity visit to former Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai on Sunday.

“This evening, I paid a solidarity visit to former Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, over his attack by APC-sponsored thugs at the recent inauguration of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State.

“I reiterated that the activities of the Tinubu-led APC administration pose the greatest risk to our democracy since the return of democratic governance.

“It is concerning that this administration has turned into a full-blown dictatorship,” he said

Truly that had been Tinubu's style of governance even in Lagos from the onset - Dictatorship! I have had several direct experiences with Lagos State Agencies and their mode of operation is usually with force and always devoid of common sense & professionalism. They mostly operate like touts, infact the Lagos State Agencies always work hand-in-hand with thugs in most of their operations ( i.e. LASTMA, LABSCA, LAVIS, LASEPA, LASSA, LAWMA, LASWA etc).
Even when they know what they are doing is wrong, they quickly resort to violence to coerce you into submission.
I always remember one of numerous incidents in which I had an authentic National Roadworthiness Certificate registered in Ojodu Abiodun (a borderline between Ogun and Lagos - but it is under Ogun State). Surprisingly, the Lagos State VIS Officers who are never supposed to be found on the roads constitutionally, but will always be there with sticks stopped me at a time and told me my National Roadworthiness Certificate was not acceptable in Lagos that I can't have a Lagos State Licence Plate and register Roadworthiness Certificate in another State .
So I went to their head office in Ojodu and met with their Boss, I asked him a couple of questions and to my amazement, he couldn't answer them properly.
*I asked him if Lagos State doesn't not register same RWC for vehicles without Lagos State Licence Plates? He said they do .
*I asked him that if other States decide to act like Lagos, then all vehicle owners will need to carry like 36 Roadworthiness Certificates
*I asked him again if there was ever a directive, circular or law that specifies that Lagos State registered vehicles must apply for RWC in Lagos? And all these was after they had forcefully removed my number plates. His response was utter nonsense and directly against federal laws because there was none. Then he asked me if I was a Lawyer?
*I told him again if there was any publication on this development, but there was none, only a Lagos State Gazette which 95% of Lagosians don't even know about. That incident actually turned my wife against Tinubu from that day. And one of their staff, told us jokingly that - "it's a normal thing that we will continue to cheat eachother for life". Apparently, this is the Tinubu's style of Governance. The only Governor (Ambode) who couldn't align with Tinubu's autocracy was technically ganged up against and removed after his 1st term. The only Governor to do a term so far, because he was on the side of the people.

The 2023 elections exposed the bitterness of Atiku. Atiku showed he lacked capacity for resolving conflict and bringing people together.

Tinubu ensured he courted those he defeated until elections. Osinbajo even headed Tinubu's legal team. Tinubu also resolved issues between Magnus Abe and Wike.

Atiku could not resolve the quarrel between Wike and Ayu and Wike and Tambuwal. Atiku's own leadership lapses cost him the presidency. Instead of accepting defeat with grace, he shopped for mago-mago means to unseat Tinubu. He failed and has now resorted to calling Tinubu a dictator.

Atiku, which opposition politician has been killed in Tinubu's government? During the Obasanjo/Atiku government, the following were killed and murders unresolved till today:

1. Bola Ige
2. Harry Marshal
3. Ayo Daramola
4. Funsho Williams among others.

Also, Nigeria experienced the worst electoral heist in 2003 which benefitted Obasanjo and Atiku, but was successfully used against Atiku in 2007. Obasanjo dismissed Atiku as VP and kicked him out of PDP. Tinubu gave Atiku political shelter in AC.

Today, Atiku is clutching on straws. El Rufai has seen the handwriting on the wall and is now saying Tinubu wants to be a life president.

Please, how can someone whom El Rufai claimed would come 3rd become a life president? Either El Rufai is dull or he is telling lies.

Tinubu’s government is far worse than dictatorship! The independence INEC , judiciary and Police have now been totally suppressed by the executive.The legislature has always been rubber stamp and even more so under its current leadership.

During the “End bad governance” protests of August 2024 , the Police killed innocent protesters and later denied despite all the evidence and even Human Rights agencies reports.Nigeria’s police under Tinubu’s former errand boy that he made IG of Police used live bullets on innocent protesters.

The 2023 governorship elections in Kogi and Imo showed INEC clearly colluded with APC to ensure APC candidates won the election.In many polling units , INEC staff came with pre-written results sheets in favour of APC. In the case of Edo , calling the process that brought a stark illiterate to power an election is an insult to the concept and tenets of democratic due process, as what transpired can best be described as a shameless charade orchestrated by INEC in collusion with APC alongside the Police.Edo State governorship election of 2024 was a day light robbery.Shockingly , the suppressed Nigerian judiciary upheld the shameful shame from tribunal to Supreme Court now governor took 100 billion naira loan supposedly for “infrastructural development” ! It was clear after the Supreme Court judgement where the money had gone to!

Tinubu administration has been bullying opposition governors to join the APC or risk reelection! There has been attacks on opposition top shots such as Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour , Abubakar Malami etc!
