The biggest lie ever told in the history of Nigeria politics was that Tinubu built Lagos.
How he was able to sustain that lies for years needs to be a topic in Nigeria histroy.
Attached are pictorial view of lagos in the 1960s when tinubu was still less than 10yrs old.
Imagine using a state like this that the foundation have been laid for years by colonial and then military/civilian govt to compare to other states because of politics

Lagos may need to payback all the trillions taken from the Niger Delta to build her up since independence.
It is either Lagos stays as a federal property or pays back the hundreds of trillions used to build her up as the former political capital of Nigeria and the current economic capital of this weird nation.

Areas like oshodi, mile 2 etc was a no go area immediately it is 7pm.
Imagine Lagos was already this heavily developed in the 60s/70s

Could you now tell us which state you are from and what your past and present governors have been doing with their own resources without destroying the state?

There was nothing like the current Lagos state before 1960.

Nigeria, as it is now, did not exist before 1966.
The groundnuts funds from the north and the coal funds from the east was not used to develop the western region.



So if this is Lagos in 1960 then, it is wrong to say Nigerian money were used to develop it.


Every state in Nigeria has been collecting allocation from Nigerian government since it's creation.

Lagos is using its internally generated funds plus the federal allocation to develop itself.

Other states should emulate Lagos.
