Yes he did with the creation of the agbero system just to collect tax and loot.
Except u are not around when tinubu was lagos governor.
Areas like oshodi, mile 2 etc was a no go area immediately it is 7pm.
Imagine Lagos was already this heavily developed in the 60s/70s
The only thing Tinubu did in lagos was the creation of agbero to help him accumulate more tax and loot, and then renaming of agencies.
The little sanity u see in Lagos today started with fashola
Stop the lies and propagandas
But thank GOD he didn't establish terrorist like bitter leaf Republic so that we won't able to do our business on Monday.

Shiiiiii

There was nothing like Nigeria before 1960.

So if this is Lagos in 1960 then, it is wrong to say Nigerian money were used to develop it.

Every state in Nigeria has been collecting allocation from Nigerian government since it's creation.

Lagos is using its internally generated funds plus the federal allocation to develop itself.

Other states should emulate Lagos.
There was nothing like Nigeria b4 1960?

What's the obsession with Lagos state? Don't you have your home state to be bragging about without bringing others down?

Lagos was built with Nigerian resources and as such Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally

Over $800 billion has been spent on Lagos. If Yoruba nation wants to take Lagos, they must pay this amount to the Nigerian State before it can happen
owobokiri:
Lagos may need to payback all the trillions taken from the Niger Delta to build her up since independence.
It is either Lagos stays as a federal property or pays back the hundreds of trillions used to build her up as the former political capital of Nigeria and the current economic capital of this weird nation.

Later in the night, they both sneak out of the house and join night bus wey go carry them go Lagos. 😂😂😂

The oil taken from Bayelsa will turn Bayelsa to Qatar if Bayelsa was a country on their own. There should be 100% resource control

Lagos started getting disproportionate resources from Nigeria since 1914 when it became capital of Nigeria.

Yorubas will not be allowed to take Lagos even if the country is divided without paying over $800 billion spent in Lagos.

The more Nigerian resources comes to Lagos, the more you lose ownership. You already lost 90% ownership

That is an opinion
Where is the evidence?
You pulle out the figure $800 billion from where?

Before I engage you let us establish whether you want to engage on the basis of facts , figures and evidence or just emotions, speculation and rants

When you talk about federal resources you must mention where that money came from e.g Are you saying there was a net transfer of $800 billion from Awoamama and Mgbidi or what exactly is your point?

If you don't have any evidence just go away and stop ranting
Re: Lagos In The 1960s In Pictures by DMerciful(m): 2:45pm On Sep 22, 2025
I don't have time to engage you but just know that Yorubas will not be allowed to take Lagos without paying the hundreds of billions of dollars the Nigerian State invested in Lagos.

You can make yourselves happy the way Arsenal fans make themselves happy that Arsenal is their club
