It has been reported that Wike has 3 mansions in Florida in United States. Some which he bought in 2021 about a year and half to the end of his tenure as governor of Rivers stste. This is a man who earns N11,540,896 as his annual take home . His leave allowance is less than N300,000 Vehicle maintenance allowance is less than 9 million naira. Gratuity as governor after service year is less than 6 million naira. Where did Wike get the millions of dollars he used in acquiring 3 mansions in Florida United States and how was he able to wire the money to the United States to make this payment as reported on national newspapers ? When Wike was much younger, he probably criticised politicians at the time. Now that he has the opportunity to make things right, he's now embroiled in corruption scandal. That's why I always argue that people don't genuinely criticise in this part of the world. They are just not happy they aren't the ones who have the opportunity to steal  Even Sowore hasn't been tested yet. There are so many ways a governor can make money without stealing govt. funds. Gifts and kickbacks from oil companies and contractors alone can buy those Florida mansions. We are talking about a governor,all Nigerian politicians are thieves and we all know that, even sowore is no Saint. 1 Like |
