I just set my chart to split screen:- one for Heinken, the other candlestick for precise entry.

is gold more profitable than euro?

i normally trade euro,..on thursday i decided to try gold, i used 0.01 lot size, risking 10usd, i made 40 usd,( 1;4rr) i was shocked...

now am certain if i trade EUR, withe 0.01, even with 1:4 rr, theres no way profits would be that much...,this side of the maths confuse me, why does 0.01 lot size in gold give 40 in 1:4 rr, but 0.01 lots size in eur would give less..? and please is gold more profitable to trade?.

yes, i think part of my brains says the best way to ask this question is, does 100 pip movement in gold, pay more than 100 pip movemnet in eur? as n example

100 pip movement pays more in gold than 100 pips movement in eur.

And 100 pip loss takes more in gold
Than 100 pips loss in euro

gold is an insrument that gives more in profit and takes more money in losses too,....i believe its the best instrument for prop firm, because you risk small, with the probablities it can pay more, when it favours you

Remember in prop firms we have max daily loss and max overall loss

All these things are to be put into consideration with spread and commissions and swap fees too
